——— @akiadorsainvil is a curator, model and photographer from Lake Worth, FL whose work centers around enhancing the visual footprint and narrative of the diaspora. Using his outlets to explore Black Queer identity, he aims to deconstruct + challenge masculinity while uplifting the voiceless and historically marginalized through an artful lens; inevitably, creating spaces where people come can together and rejoice in being as black and gay as can be ️... “[There are] so many layers to the human experience and having a space to feel safe enough to celebrate our love, pain, trauma and gifts will secure our seat at the table while working to make sure it’s forever an open invite... no rsvp” #everydayppl#everydaypplmiami
LA! We’re so glad to be back TOMORROW @ Le Jardin with a special Live performance from @Buddy♂️. Link in Bio for info + tickets
“I got real life goals not music goals, music helps me reach my real life goals like getting a Tesla.”
We have the Amazing Grace Conservatory to thank for this weekends guest performer, Compton native, @Buddy. At AGC, Buddy was able to birth and nurture his craft as an all around artist. He learned to act, sing, dance and starred in a number of productions with Dream Girls being his favorite, ”I played Jimmy Early. I had on shiny overalls, a cape and background singers! I was 7 living my best life.” By design, Buddy was put in a rap group for one of the talent shows: a song about white tees, titled “Pro Club”, was his first song and he hasn’t stopped rapping since! With his new single “Black” having just dropped on Beats 1 (available on all streaming platforms ) and an album coming this summer, he credits his current happiness and success to the love & support of his family and friends & having fun every day Hit the link in bio and click thru LA for info + tix for the Pre Party tonight! #everydayppl#everydaypplla

*As you must be aware, the Saturday forecast calls for consistent rain so *after much consideration* we have decided to *move the party to Sunday*. The Standard DTLA was already booked on Sunday (unfortunately!) but we are excited to announce that our friends at Le Jardin (in Hollywood) will be hosting us instead. The bad news is this could be inconvenient as you may already have plans on Sunday: we are therefore more than happy to process refunds for advanced ticket purchasers until Saturday evening (cut-off time for requesting a refund is Saturday 3/10 8pm). The good news is that we can *reopen ticket sales* thanks to the increased capacity of the new venue, so all you folks that joined the waitlist please get to it fast!
Apologies for the inconvenience, we hope you can still join us on Sunday. Please see below for all details.
We are accepting refund requests if you are unable to attend. Refunds are available until Saturday 8pm. Advance ticket holders will receive an email with instructions on how to request a refund.
The Saturday Night After-Party is now a *PRE-PARTY*. We still welcome you to join our very own DJ Moma and Bless Up LA, for some Saturday night dancing.
