Last night I was out in the Blue Mountains Milky Way hunting with @bokehandco , on the way to our destination we pulled up to the side of the road and figured this would be a cool spot to capture both the Milky Way and some car trails giving the image an illusion of a scene from back to the future. A thank you to a brother @thepalmup for delivering this new Sony GM 16-35 f2.8 from Sydney. I must say I am probably one if not the first person to try this lens out in Australia as it was released just yesterday afternoon.
Thank you @sonyaustralia and thank you @nisifiltersaustralia for the amazing night Filter.
Flat Rock aka Lincoln's Rock. One of my favourite locations for a sunset and astrophotography. The best part of been a landscape photographer is exposing your self to environments that the majority of the general public never see, especially the magical colours that subtly appear on a sunrise whilst your setting up your camera gear and sipping on a very strong piccolo with no sugar.
I wouldn't give this life up for anything.
After refusing all day to head out for this sunset as all the odds where against me and it was even raining on my way to the destination I finally came out with a not that bad sunset. However my tripod did fall forward scratching my v5 filter holder. @instagram
