Ans: I don’t track macros nor should you use someone else’s macros as an indicator for your own. Muscle mass, recovery rate, age, resting heart rate, activity level, waking hours and many other factors impact your dietary needs.
I eat intuitively keeping my intake as high as possible, eating a lot of fresh unprocessed foods. If your goal is to stay lean or to get leaner you should aim for a slight deficit, not a dramatic one!
In time your body will become accustomed to clean foods and your thoughts about junk food will change from ‘I can’t have that’ to ‘I don’t want that’. We know more about fitness, calories & macros than ever before but yet obesity and eating disorders are on the rise. Our generation is obsessed with food.
