Butter has been a staple in traditional diets across the globe for centuries, but at one point we all got mixed up, buying into a false myth that butter is bad for us. Especially if you have high cholesterol or suffer from heart disease. But what if I told you that you can safely enjoy high quality butter in reasonable amounts (which doesn't mean neither measuring the amount you put on your toast with a teaspoon nor having everything swim in it, but you know, within reason peeps ) Butter is a source of some great nutrition and let's face it, makes EVERYTHING taste better! An excellent source of vitamin A, E and K. But feel free to chuck your margarine into the bin! Studies now confirm that while butter shows no detrimental effects on CV system, hydrogenated fats found i good old margarine are inflammatory upon ingestion, contributing to heart disease.
