Lips. We use them to smile, kiss and speak words of love. Keep them hydrated this winter.This was a big problem area for me for a long time. Here are the simple tips I try to keep in mind: Drink plenty of water, even if you are not thirsty. Proactively apply balm, don't wait for your lips to start feeling chapped. Be mindful of mouth breathing. Especially when you are sick and at bedtime. This is when the second point becomes important.

In the colder months when it is too cold to keep windows open, it is difficult to get fragrant food smells out of the apartment. In an effort to Recycle and Reuse more often, I hold on to orange and lemon peels and boil them while I cook. Oranges from lunch and lemons left over after crafting our Pink Salt Scrub create a pleasant aroma. I am going to take it a step further this time and drop the peels off at my local compost collection! #gogreen

Had to create a lip scrub because I have been neglecting my skin lately. I usually hydrate proactively at home. Constantly applying lip balm and moisturizing after all contact with water. This way while I'm away from home my skin is moist with minimal effort!
