Some places always provide contentment and a great photo. This is my place, a local lake. Sunset, fish rising to insects hatching. Peaceful, perfect.
Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.
Thoughts are with those in Anguilla today and how they are coping with the aftermath of Hurricane Urma. This was taken from a beautiful beach on the island at sunset.

Poppy fields are forever. This was from a few weeks ago in a field an hours drive away. A fun trip out and actually found this field from a shot from a UK feed which some of you may have seen. There was even a half decent sunset that followed.

Politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They should both be changed regularly, and for the same reason.
Last night I went over to a hill called the Wrekin and below it a small road which had a nice opening to view this sunset following a day of unsettled weather. This was the best shot from last night.
Useless fact for you: The Wrekin was supposedly created when a giant shook his boots of mud...We learn something new everyday..
In dreams and in love there are no impossibilities.
Ever found yourself stopping because you have just found a photo you have to take? That's this one! I saw on a road I go down every day (probably too fast), a field full of purple so thought that was worth a look. The same field was also scattered with sunflowers. When your luck is in, your luck is in! Happy weekend all. Off canoeing tomorrow so expect a river post or two.
Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. That’s relativity.
What do you prefer, sunrise or sunset? Also can you notice the little people living on the mans head?! This was from a recent trip to Koh Tao, Thailand. The epitome of paradise. This was a local enjoying the view out to sea at sunset . I miss this place hope to go back to Asia and explore some more Islands in the future.
If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music.” Albert Einstein
Happy bank holiday weekend to you all. Everyone ready for the fight?! I am although questions over staying awake. This was a lone daisy growing in a field I stopped by to photo in England.
Without great solitude no serious work is possible. Pablo Picasso
A Favourite lake spot in The UK, awaiting the perfect sunset to arrive on a beautiful Tuesday evening.
