Late night spreadsheets.
So many columns. So many variables. So many possible outcomes ♀️
Being conservative, planning for the worst and hoping for the best knowing it’s a game of swings and roundabouts.
Before I send out plans to my shortlist of builders to get quotes, I wanted to make sure I had somewhat of an understanding of how much everything (that I want) costs. I want to know whether the builders quotes with their PC items is on par and reduce the risk being surprised when the items I want are much more than allowed for in the quotes and realising the build will cost a lot more than I thought. It’s already more expensive than I first thought.... 🤨
Comparing apples with apples, it’s always a hard thing to do! My poor brain... So whether it’s a draftsman or architect you’re after, how do you choose between them all? Like with builders, does it come down to who you gel the most with?
