According to James McKenna & Ryan Satin on the latest edition of Wrestling Sheet Radio, the plan was for James Ellsworth to face Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania 34 for the Smackdown Women’s Championship
-
McKenna says that these plans were in place as recent as August
-
The idea was for Ellsworth to come out, saying that he was transitioning and identifies as a woman
-
As a result, it gave him the right to challenge for the Women’s title
-
This idea also apparently came right from Vince McMahon and was something WWE was seriously considering

“I’m not a huge fan of Jason Jordan or anything like that. I’m not going to hate on him or anything like that. Opportunities in this business are few and far between.”
-
Booker T continued, “I’m not heeling on him. If I like you, I like you. If I don’t like you, I don’t like you. It’s that simple. To me, he has not proved himself to be a top guy on Monday Night RAW. I don’t see one sign in the audience that says JasonJordan is ‘my guy.’ If you ain’t got no signs out there, it tells me one thing - you ain’t that hot or people just don’t care about you. Right now, Jason Jordan is lukewarm.”

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, here is a clarification on Emma (Tenille Dashwood’s) booking price and more for independent dates
-
The $2,000 per show figure was for shows outside North America (for Europe, Japan and other markets)
-
For North America the rate being quoted is $1,500 per show, plus round-trip airfare, hotel and ground transportation
-
On the indies, promoters are expected to provide hotels and ground transportation, an expense that talent in WWE has to pay for on their own
-
The higher rate for international shows is nothing out of the ordinary since the travel is harder and you can often miss a day of regular bookings because of it
-
She’s also asking for a 50/50 split between her and the promotion for autograph and picture money, and asking for 100 percent of her own other merchandise money (also consistent with most guidelines)
-
She also asks for creative control (the ability to approve her opponent and book her own finishes)
-
She is also asking for a 50 percent deposit ahead of time, which is also consistent with what most top stars on the market do unless they are working for a promoter they have a developed a long relationship with

NXT Champion Drew McIntyre heads down to the ring and says it's great when a plan comes together and sarcastically congratulates Andrade "Cien" Almas for getting his title match at WarGames. "Now, you're in trouble," McIntyre says. He continues that the pressure now will mount and he wonders if Almas will be able to deal with it, because McIntyre knows he can, as he holds up the title. He asks Almas to come out and face him.. for once.. like a man. "Unless, of course, Zelina is going to let you off the leash for the night."
-
Cue Almas' music. Out strolls Zelina, and only Zelina, as McIntyre isn't impressed with this move. Then comes Almas and he immediately jumps in the ring, the two start swinging away at each other. Zelina jumps off the top rope at McIntyre, he catches, and sets her down. The distraction allows Almas to get in a chop block and he hits the hammerlock DDT. Zelina picks up the NXT Championship and hypes up Almas as he stares at the title
