This is easily one of my favourite images colour wise. I just love the pastel tones throughout the sky and the colour contrast of the water. This images also features in my 2018 Calendar. I don't often edit my photos in black and white but I thought this particular photo works perfect for it. Anyway for pretty much the first black and white on my Instagram I'm super happy with the final result. This image is also the first image in my 2018 Calendar. Today for story time I'm going to talk about teaching photography. So about 3 years (ish) ago when I first started focusing on landscape photography I always thought how amazing it would be to be traveling, taking photos and teaching people about landscape photography. So about 18 months ago I meet @petejamesphoto and he shared a similar passion, so with our powers combined (Captain Planet reference) we started @focalscape_photographytours As some may know, next month we run our first New Zealand workshop and I can't wait. This is a dream I've had for years now and I can't wait to show all of the people coming along around the awesome NZ.
