This donkey got hit by a car but was too scared to move from the road. He was so grateful when rescuers finally showed up — and looks SO happy now.
Thank you for amazing job:@animalaid_india
"That feeling when human hands protect and save what other human hands have harmed ♡
Rescuing a giraffe from a wire snare trap set by bushmeat poachers. After safely removing the snare, the giraffe had difficulty getting up from the tranquilizer antidote. We had to strap his neck to our vehicle and slowly drive forward as the team pushed on him to give him a boost in waking up and normalising.
We all stayed clear of the legs that can deliver a powerful kick and watched in awe as the giraffe trotted away to freedom once more."
A huge male jaguar pulling a caiman out of the water up a slippery, muddy river bank in the northern Pantanal, Brazil. This jaguar demonstrated the meaning of the term power dragging this 8ft long, armour plated, 74 toothed, chunk of contracting muscle out of the water and into the bushes.
It’s beyond me why this octopus isn’t in its natural habitat
Although, it’s so fascinating that it has the cognitive ability to know how to free itself by unscrewing the lid! It’s mind-blowing!
What do you guys think? #octopus#animals#wildlife
Unfortunate death of a giant whale in Canada!
This poor bugger washed up in Trout River, Newfoundland!
This was taken in 2014 but I still find it pretty interesting thought you guys might too.. You can see how much it has expanded due to the gas build up inside the decaying whale, meaning the possibility of it exploding...!
I wouldn’t be standing too close and I also wouldn’t be smiling...
