Hello Face Freaks!
I have a full looking #amroutine for you here today. :-) I started with budget fabulous #avalonorganics' C0Q10 Cleansing Milk #facecleanser (creamy, and a little drier than Caroline Hirons's second cleanser, and faintly rose-scented). Then I used half an #acidtoner pad from #nipandfab: Extreme Glycolic Night variety. I spritzed with #deciem's #hylamide Hydra Density Mist, and immediately applied three tiny drops of #niod Copper Amino Isolate Serum (#cais) on top of the moisture to make it spread well and not waste a molecule. Next I applied #lashserum, NIOD's Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right, and my still new and exciting purchase from #clinique: Repairwear Laser Focus Eye Cream (100% happy with this #eyecream months later!). I moved back to my face and used my standard daytime trio: #theordinaryskincare's Niacinamide and zinc, EUK134 antioxidant, and NIOD's Survival0. Still a little dry from that weird reaction to a line that disagreed with me, I also used #bayberrynaturals' Rosehip and Hibiscus moisturizer.
Lastly I used two items from Deciem's The Chemistry Brand: Hand Chemistry, and Heel Chemistry. The former I adore. The latter I really wish I'd given more time towards trying, and particularly wish I had it here in brutally dry Beijing (it's on a boat heading our way still)!
We have spent a lot of time as a family seeing sights and trying unsuccessfully to find things that are open for business during Chinese New Year. @originalsethjones got this lovely shot of my little dude asleep on my back in Tiananmen Square a few days ago. Swipe left to view it and give him some love on his page.
Have a fantabulous week, Freaks!
Hope your weekend was full of joy and fulfillment.
Happy Valentine's Day, you practicing Face Freaks!
I'm amazed by all of the love on my last post and review. Thank you for coming alongside my journey.
Today's still-life is from several months ago and shows the first evening my face had recovered enough after having a reaction to sweet Josh Rosebrook's products to be able to use an #acidtoner again...albeit half strength (cut with water hence that sexy water bottle ). I started with a single cleanse (no makeup or sunscreen needed that day) using #deciem's #niod#sanskritsaponins#facecleanser. It's just so different from anything else out there. I've heard the smell likened to Marmite, mushroom risotto, and dirt. I think it smells like caramelized carbohydrates, and for me it's really pleasant. Plus, more importantly, it does a terrific job cleaning.
Next, I wet a half of a cotton round with a little bit of water, and then splashed some #biologiquerecherche#p50 1970 W on it. I wasn't ready to see if I was ready for full-strength, and when in doubt, always go for the cautious approach.
Then I spritzed with #artnaturals' Soleil Mineral water #hydratingmist and applied three thin stripes of NIOD's #cais (Copper Amino Isolate Serum) on top, which makes it easier to spread, and firstly balances the pH of the acid toner a bit.
After that, I applied three drips of my half half combo of pre-mixed NIOD MMHC2 and #Hylamide's SubQ Anti-Age serums. These are so nice together. After Buffet from #theordinaryskincare comes out with added Copper, I think I just might mix it with MMHC2 (after I get to look at ingredients first). That could be a pretty formidable team, and so much cheaper for those of us who stick to a budget. :-)
I was still only using the pictured lackluster #lashserum, and then used NIOD's Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right, which I'm still needing to release pictures of, results-wise, from my three month trial of using one per eye. Last eye treatment was the lovely #eyecream by #clinique: Repairwear Laser Focus Eye Cream. It's so nice. It's thick. It's great for night time and was just what I was looking for when a friend suggested it to me.
Hello beautiful Face Freaks! We've finally all felt better as a family but have been so busy catching up on errands and family time, and celebrating our first born daughter's birthday today. I baked a cake, cinnamon monkey bread, and chocolate chip cookies (all from scratch) last night, and we enjoyed eating them today.
Today's #amroutine started with #thebodyshop's Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter (I love this for morning single cleanses, and for evening double cleanses. It's a solid workhorse with fantastic texture and a lovely smell!) After cleaning my face, I yet again skipped an #acidtoner due to my face recovering from angry inflammation after using #joshrosebrook's beautiful products which simply do not work for my skin. Sometimes trying new things is like this--not everything will be a win, and that's okay. I skipped on to #larocheposay's Serozinc #hydratingmist, and applied three thin stripes of #deciem's #niod Copper Amino Isolate Serum (#cais) on top. It's much easier to rub CAIS in and use less if it is applied on a moist surface. After that I used my half half mixture of NIOD's MMHC2 and #Hylamide's
SubQ Anti-Age, which I think I will always love for its viscosity and in between price point. Next I used #lashserum, then NIOD's FECC on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right; I am working on compiling pictures of my face from this and a write up. Lastly, I used #clinique's Repairwear Laser Focus Eye Cream on my eyes. (Love it. Still.) I put NIOD's Survival0 on top of everything on my face, as well as #bayberrynaturals' Rosehip and Hibiscus moisturizer for some extra cushion and help healing. I slathered on some of Deciem's The Chemistry Brand Hand Chemistry and Heel Chemistry after I was finished with my face.
I hope you have a wonderful day, wherever you amazing Freaks are. Go blow someone away with some love and kindness. We all need it. #amskincare#amskincareroutine #skincare#skincareroutine#skincarejunkie#skincareaddict#skincarecommunity#shotoncanon#skinstagram#instaskincare#deciemmademedoit#carolinehironsmademedoit#deciemaddict
It's been a whirlwind, Face Freaks! Another daughter sick with stomach flu, and one fantastic thing: part of our household shipment of things arrived yesterday. I want you to imagine opening up boxes of small things that are like kisses: a laundry basket?! Man I didn't know how much I needed those with four kids! Chocolate chips? Bliss. My favorite coffee? Heaven. Toys for kiddos? Like a big hug.
Anyhow, today's #pmroutine is from months ago now, but still the next in line. It started with a single cleanse with #jordansamuelskin's Plié #facecleanser, which has to be on my top five favorite cleansers. Also of note, this was my second skip of #acidtoner with my
face still being inflamed from using #joshrosebrook's Hydrating Accelerator. So instead I moved on to a generous spritz of rose water and spread three thin stripes of #deciem's #niod Copper Amino Isolate Serum (#cais) on top, with my half half combo of pre-mixed NIOD MMHC2 and #Hylamide's SubQ Anti-Age over it. Then I went over my lash lines with #lashserum (this one has done nothing) and then used NIOD's Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right, topping everything with the winner from my trial of "which eye cream is going to be the one I splurge on" contest...#clinique's Repairwear Laser Focus Eye Cream. To be fair, when I pitted it against #drunkelephant's Shaba #eyeserum, I really was looking for a night #eyecream, and so Clinique's had an edge on Drunk Elephant's thinner serum. Shaba is gorgeous too, though, and I hope to invest in it someday as well.
Last face applications of NIOD's Survival0, #misshakorea's Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule, and #truebotanicals' Renew Pure Radiance Oil, which is on the drier side, has a fragrance of lilies, and is among my favorite oil blends ever. Again, someday I hope to buy a real and not just sample size. It's fantastic. I also smeared on the lovely #bayberrynaturals Rosehip and Hibiscus moisturizer. Normally my face doesn't need that much moisture, but I was throwing everything I could think of in the soothing and healing categories at it, and I will tell you in advance that my efforts worked.
Hiya Face Freaks! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. We just got back from our first trip out together in two weeks. Even though it was just grocery shopping, it was wonderful!
Today's #amroutine is from several weeks ago and started with #damesanddimes' gorgeous, bright yellow Chocolate Orange Cleansing Balm. You have to remove it with a very warm, damp washcloth, which I adore, but you have to be prepared for that or you'll only have moisturized your face! After that, I skipped #acidtoner, which is so infrequent! But as I said in my last post where I'd used Josh Rosebrook's Hydrating Accelerator, it completely pissed off my face. Weeping eyes, redness like I never experience, and even patches of very tender skin, I could do nothing else but try to make friends with my face this particular morning. So instead of acid toner, I used my most soothing hydrating toner: #kiehls' Calendula Toner, with #deciem's #niod Copper Amino Isolate Serum (#cais). Then I used three drips of my favorite mixture of NIOD's MMHC2 and #Hylamide's SubQ Anti-Age. I swapped over to my eyes and used #lashserum (don't buy this one, it has done nothing for me!), NIOD's Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right, and #origins' A Perfect World for Eyes over everything. Then back on my face, I applied three tiny teensy drops of #theordinaryskincare's Niacinamide and zinc, and #euk134. I skipped #survival0 because it stings like crazy when my skin is inflamed or compromised (like with #retina Tretinoin 0.025% use). Proving just how angry my skin was that morning, I also used two moisturizing elements: #truebotanicals' Renew Pure Radiance Oil (probably my most favorite oil blend. It's dry. It smells like lilies, and I just think it's splendid. Someday I would love to be able to afford the price tag, but they do offer samples so you can be sure it's love before you commit! And secondly, #bayberrynaturals' Rosehip and Hibiscus moisturizer, which I still love; it is light yet a little fluffy, soft, and oh so relieving feeling spread across your face.
Hello lady and gentleman Face Freaks. Mostly everyone is mostly better. Thanks for all your well wishes. I'm really hoping we will all be fine in two days for the weekend so we can get out and explore more of the city!
Today's #pmroutine started with a first cleanse with #thebodyshop's Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter, then a second cleanse with #clinique's Extra-Mild Facial Cleansing Soap (it definitely smells like white Ivory bar soap to me ). Next I swiped my face with a half of an #acidtoner pad from the lovely #gardenofwisdom's line: their 8% Lactic Acid in water. This was one of the last times I used this product. While I like it very much, now I know that it's not compatible with NIOD's Copper Amino Isolate Serum, and definitely too acidic for my morning uses of The Ordinary's EUK134 antioxidant.
Regardless, I did use it that evening and nobody died. It probably made the effects of Copper Amino Isolate Serum pretty much nil. After that I spritzed with #joshrosebrook's Hydrating Accelerator, which I now know doesn't work on my face. It makes my eyes freak out, and makes my skin red and blotchy. This was the last time I used it, and I only did as a last test, to see if it really had been the culprit of my recent irritation. Sadly it was. I had to rehome everything I had from his line. Thankfully they were only travel sizes, which I so appreciate he offers. Not every thing will work for every person. After I spritzed, I applied three thin stripes of #deciem's #niod#cais, then my half half combo of pre-mixed NIOD MMHC2 and Hylamide's SubQ Anti-Age. I swapped over to my eyes and used #lashserum, NIOD's FECC on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right, and #purlisse's Blue Lotus 4 in 1 Eye Adore Serum on top of everything.
Last face applications were #misshakorea's Time Revolution Night Repair Ampoule, and NIOD's Survival0.
I hope you all have fantastic last bits of your week. Hugs from Beijing! #pmskincare#pmskincareroutine #skincare#skincareroutine#skincarejunkie#skincareaddict#skincarecommunity#shotoncanon#skinstagram#instaskincare#deciemmademedoit#carolinehironsmademedoit#deciemaddicts #deciemchatroom
Hello, Face Freaks! Forgive my absence, but with 3/4 of the kiddos sick and myself feeling close to capitulation, I've been quite busy.
Today's #amroutine is from several weeks ago, and started with #tartecosmetics' gel #facecleanser (Rainforest of the Sea). I really love the smell and feel of it, but I feel it may foam a tad too much to be a "foamless cleanser" in the spirit of Caroline Hirons' preference. I do think the smell is unique, lifting, and utterly fresh though. I received this sample in an #ipsy bag last summer, and I've been torn ever since on whether to purchase a regular size of it. After cleansing, I swiped my face with #nipandfab's Extreme Glycolic Night #acidtoner pads, spritzed with #deciem's #hylamide Hydra Density Mist, and then immediately applied three thin stripes of NIOD's #CAIS (Copper Amino Isolate Serum). After that I used three drips of my favorite mixture of NIOD's MMHC2 and Hylamide's SubQ Anti-Age and rubbed it in everywhere, including eyes. I allowed that to dry while I used #lashserum (cannot recommend this one--honestly pony up the money for #randf's #lashboost if you truly struggle with sparse lashes. This particular serum has lost all of my length from using LashBoost last year. (Pictures and an updated review to come.) Next I used NIOD's Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right, and #origins A Perfect World for Eyes to top everything off. Last face serums were #theordinaryskincare's Niacinamide and zinc, and NIOD's Survival0 with The Ordinary's EUK134 mixed on my face. I put Survival0 on first, because it's thicker, so it stays put better while I quickly put a little dot of EUK134 close to the dots of Survival0 to rub in together. (Mouthful. ) I hope you are all well, had a great start to your week, and are pushing your heart into love and blessing others. It's a hard world out there, Freaks. It needs our love. #amskincare#amskincareroutine #skincare#skincareroutine#skincarejunkie#skincareaddict#skincarecommunity#shotoncanon#skinstagram#instaskincare#deciemmademedoit#carolinehironsmademedoit#deciemaddict
Hello from Beijing, Face Freaks! It's been almost a week since we last spoke, we're still trying to adjust to the opposite time zone, and we've started putting some wonderful new experiences into that empty mug from my last post. We've been grateful for some very good air quality days--and we only had to wear our pollution masks as we walked to church on Sunday. So far everything has been going smoothly. I've missed all of you, though! Truly.
So today's #pmroutine is from several weeks ago and I started with @carolinehirons' #pixiskincare#doublecleanse. If you don't know what a double cleanse is or why you would want to do it, pull up her website and watch her videos on YouTube. After cleansing, I applied #biologiquerecherche's P50 1970 #acidtoner, then neutralized it a bit with #joshrosebrook's #hydrationaccelerator#hydratingmist. Then I immediately applied three thin stripes of #deciem's #niod Copper Amino Isolate Serum on top of the moisture to make it spread more easily. Next I dripped three drops of my favorite mixture of NIOD's MMHC2 and #Hylamide's SubQ Anti-Age (best viscosity imo). I switched over to my eyes: NIOD's Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right, #lashserum, a tiny smidgen of #theordinaryskincare's Advanced Retinoid 2% Emulsion on my eyes, and #purlisse's Blue Lotus 4 in 1 Eye Adore Serum over everything.
Then back to my face...it was a prescription strength retinol night, Tretinoin .025%, smeared fairly liberally, then NIOD's Survival0 over the top, because antioxidants and blue light protection are things I NEED.
I have been so grateful to everyone who has been patient, those of you who've sent me a note to wish me well, say you're praying for our family as we transition, and just say hi! Thanks so much, you wonderful Freaks. I heart you all.
PS, it is quite obvious that people here in Asia love skincare by the sheer number of travel skincare containers available at even the most basic grocery store. I'd have been in heaven with that selection in stores in the USA.
Face Freaks, I find it poetic and prophetic that I took this picture weeks ago and it lined up with today--our departure day to move to Beijing, China. Look at that cup--empty and ready to be filled with new and exciting experiences as a family. (And definitely fun new skincare available to me!)
Today's #amroutine is from several weeks ago and started with #clinique's Extra-Mild Liquid Facial Soap, which definitely has a soap smell to me, but I have to agree with queen @carolinehirons that using the moniker "soap" for it seems ludicrous. It's fine. If I was a diehard Clinique fan-girl and wanted something to purchase to put me over the edge for gift-with-purchase, I'd say it's worth considering. Otherwise I love many other #facecleanser options far more.
After cleansing, I swiped my face with #nipandfab's Extreme Glycolic Night #acidtoner pads, and neutralized the pH with #larocheposay's #serozinc#hydratingmist. Then I applied three thin stripes (one across forehead and one on each cheek) of #deciem's #niod Copper Amino Isolate Serum #cais with my half half combo of pre-mixed NIOD MMHC2 #mmhc2 and #Hylamide's SubQ Anti-Age coming after.
I allowed my face to dry (doesn't take long as both of those layers are not very viscous) and started on my eyes in earnest: #lashserum, which in real Alysha time I just hit two months of trialing a different lash serum on my left eye. I've been taking pictures and looking forward to seeing if there's an increase compared to the pictured option. Then NIOD's #FECC on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right, and #origins' A Perfect World for Eyes all over. Back to my face, I applied three teensy tiny drops of #theordinaryskincare's Niacinamide and zinc to my face, rubbed in (too much and it gets soapy feeling) and their EUK134 antioxidant on top. Then NIOD's Survival0 to cap everything off. When I get back online for real, I will start posting some of the results and products I have been trialing against one another.
One. More. Day, Face Freaks! I think tonight will be the most difficult, trying to sleep before something this big is torment, don't you agree?
I have such an interesting #pmroutine for you today. New products I was very excited to try, and some of them didn't work well for me, which was so, so disappointing! I started with new-to-me #facecleanser from #deciem's #hylamide line: High Efficiency Face Cleaner, which is a slippery liquid and dang good at removing makeup, especially waterproof mascara. It burned my eyes that first use and made me suspicious that perhaps we might not get along, but I pressed on to the next cleanser--also a new product for me (and here's where I was stupidly impatient and should have stopped and used something tried and true). #joshrosebrook's line of skincare is highly favored among so many, and I'd been wanting to try some of his things for a long time. I bought a few and this was my first time using two. I applied his Complete Moisture Cleanse and was surprised by the texture (a bit wetter than many cleansers while still being sort of creamy feeling) and the scent which is really distinctive of all of the things I tried of his, highly herbaceous notes, and slightly licorice smelling. It felt nice enough, and I moved on in my routine. I swiped my face with an #acidtoner pad from #gardenofwisdom--Lactic Acid 8%. It's a very low pH of 1.9, and now I know it's really too low to use with CAIS later in my routine. But at the time I wasn't aware. Now, I would only use them if I wasn't going to use CAIS (yeah that's never going to happen! ) but it is a great pad for those who aren't invested in CAIS and want a really clean product (two ingredients...Lactic Acid and water). Next I spritzed with the one product I'd been hard core heart throbbing over trying: Josh's Hydrating Accelerator #hydratingmist. This product is definitely on a lot of people's cannot-live-without-list, and if you're not sensitive to essential oils, it might be on yours too. I didn't think I was sensitive to essential oils, but there is something in Josh's products that (sadly, sadly, sadly) made my skin so dang angry.
Good morning Monday Face Freaks! Things are feeling very real over here in countdown land. I will post for the next three days, but I don't know how long it will take to get our internet up and running in Beijing. So after Wednesday's post I will likely be MIA for several days. I will take pictures of our adventures along the way to post later.
Today's #amroutine is from several weeks ago. I began with cheap and cheerful #avalonorganics' lovely, softly tangerine scented, Intense Defense Cleansing Milk #facecleanser. Then I used #nipandfab's Extreme Glycolic Night #acidtoner pads, again a good price point, somewhat citrus scented, and an even better value if you snip the pads in half. (I like to do a chunk at a time, work my way through that cut pile, then snip some more.) Then I sprayed my face with #origins' Ginzing #hydratingtoner (this spray nozzle should be much better for the price. Sorry Origins. I've had two bottles and they both were not good). I like to apply #deciem's #niod Copper Amino Isolate Serum directly on top of my face when it is still moist from the hydrating mist. It helps me use less CAIS, because it can spread more easily, and the mist brings the pH closer to an acceptable framework for CAIS to work within given I've used an acid preceding both to start. (Mouthful.) Anyhow, after that I used my weirdo half half combo of pre-mixed NIOD MMHC2 and #Hylamide's SubQ Anti-Age. Both of these are great. Buy whichever you can afford. If you can't afford either, grab Buffet instead. It's a little thicker than SubQ Anti-Age but still very nice. Then I swapped to my eye region (which is silly in a way, because so far everything except my acid toner HAS gone on my eyes...digression here); I used #lashserum, NIOD's Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right, and a second Origins' product: A Perfect World for Eyes (maybe one of my favorite fragrances after @jordansamuelskin's Plié cleanser, but similar in citrus note). Moving back to my face, I used my standard day trio: #theordinaryskincare's Niacinamide and zinc, EUK134 gangbuster antioxidant, and NIOD's Survival0 for extra measure.
I hope you are having a gorgeous Sunday, Face Freaks. We had a good day yesterday--finished up a little business surrounding moving, but nothing stressful, which was nice.
Today's #pmroutine started with a first cleanse of #thebodyshop's Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter (so dang good, and really reasonably priced, especially if you nab it on sale!) and then a second cleanse with #larocheposay's Toleraine Gentle Hydrating Cleanser. Then I used #deciem's #theordinaryskincare's 7% Glycolic #acidtoner, and a spray of #artnaturals' #hydratingmist, which I immediately followed with three thin stripes of #NIOD's Copper Amino Isolate Serum, rubbed gently in over my whole face, and then my weirdo half half combo of pre-mixed NIOD MMHC2 and #Hylamide's SubQ Anti-Age (curiosity and price and viscosity all equal a lovely result here ). I swapped over to my eyes and used #organycbeauty's #lashserum on top and bottom lash lines(would love to trial #randflashboost again to show the difference on one eye), then NIOD's FECC on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right, and lastly #purlisse's Blue Lotus 4 in 1 Eye Adore Serum over everything. This was a first night of a set of #retina uses, and I didn't feel the need to apply anything else on top of it. Tretinoin 0.025% (at least this variety) feels quite occlusive to me, so I rarely used any further moisturizers over it during the Fall season.
We are temporarily staying at a furnished apartment in a busy urban area, which we've never experienced before, and it has been a nice foreshadowing of what is to come in Beijing (although on a tiny scale). It's so weird to live within walking distance of anything you'd need. It's going to be an exciting new experience living in China.
Have a terrific Sunday, Freaks!
Well my Friday flew by, Face Freaks! But our house is clean and EMPTY!
Today's #amroutine is from several weeks ago and shows a change in eye cream--I went back to a previous bottle I'd only half used and enjoyed very much, but wanted to see if I truly liked it after trying other things (I'm sure you've never done this! ). I started with #deciem's #sanskritsaponins#facecleanser, which Brandon Truaxe says, when pressed, he uses every day. I did a YouTube video review on it and I'll link it in my bio. :-) Then I took a massive departure from my standard @carolinehirons' addict routine follower ways and skipped acid toning in lieu of #niod's Flavanone Mud. This mask is pretty strong and few that I know say it doesn't tingle significantly at one point or another, and afterwards as well. After a 15 minute mask, I rinsed it off gently (easy to accomplish in slightly warm water and a soft swipe of a wet washcloth to finish). Then I spritzed with simple rosewater and immediately applied three thin stripes of NIOD's CAIS, rubbed it in, and did the same with three drips of my half half combo of pre-mixed NIOD MMHC2 and Hylamide's SubQ Anti-Age. Next I moved to my eyes to allow my face to dry a tad, and swiped my lash lines with #lashserum, then NIOD's FECC on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right, and my "let's try it again" eye cream: #origins A Perfect World #eyeserum (thicker silicone based, ridiculously lovely lemony smell, and nice texture). Then back to my face to do my standard day trio: #theordinaryskincare's Niacinamide and zinc, EUK134, and NIOD's Survival0.
I hope you all have marvelous weekends, full of delightful adventures. I feel so relieved to not have any crazy pressing obligations today. Hugs, Freaks! #amskincare#amskincareroutine #skincare#skincareroutine#skincarejunkie#skincareaddict#skincarecommunity#shotoncanon#skinstagram#instaskincare#deciemmademedoit#carolinehironsmademedoit#deciemaddicts
Hiya Face Freaks! Today more packers come for two days of work to put the rest of our household into crates to be stored while we live overseas. Things start to feel surreal and the house you've been accustomed to starts to empty. It's a bizarre feeling.
Today's #amroutine is from several weeks ago. I started with sublime #damesanddimes' Chocolate Orange Cleansing Balm, which must be removed with a warm, wet washcloth. It has a wonderful smell--like dark chocolate, not cloying, and the orange notes are really soft and lovely too. Plus it does its job well and doubles as a terrific occlusive agent if you're looking for something legit to treat dry patches with instead of cleansing.
Next I used #nipandfab's Extreme Glycolic Night pads for my #acidtoner. I cut them in half a few at a time, because I'm a cheapskate, and because they're well saturated with fluid: a half pad is plenty to do my face. After acid toning, I sprayed liberally with #artnaturals' Soleil Mineral water #hydratingmist. Guys. Seriously. If you're in the US, this is a HUGE can, the finest spray I've used, and so, so affordable!!! It's a major win. After spritzing, I applied #deciem's #niod Copper Amino Isolate Serum and rubbed it in everywhere. Then my half half combo of pre-mixed NIOD MMHC2 and #Hylamide's SubQ Anti-Age went on in three satisfying drips and also met the same fate. I switched over to my eyes and used NIOD's Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate on my left eye and Hylamide's SubQ Eyes on my right. (I think I have one more drip of FECC to use this morning and then I will feel satisfied that my job is done testing them side by side the last three months!) I also used #lashserum. I went back and checked my notes last night from my routines and I'm not satisfied with my progress from #organycbeauty's lash serum. I'll have to do a write up because there are a lot of dates involved from when I switched over from using #randf's #lashboost to this. I'd love to trial it against the next lash serum I started using on one eye...I digress. Too much information!
