I love football! Its probably my favorite sports to watch. But what the league is doing to Kaep is sickening. Throughout history the powers that be have tried to assassinate the character of our heros and silence those that speak for us. We need to rethink what and who we celebrate as a culture. I won't be watching this NFL season until Kaep is in a uniform. I suggest y'all do the same. @kaepernick7 if u need help or if u feel like I can help u make an impact in anyway please feel free to reach out. I'm with u king! #PROtestseries#istandwithkaepernick

For those of us who are NOT in the affected areas of #hurricaneharvey take a moment and imagine how it would feel to wake up and have none of these basic human necessities. If you can help, donate, or just pray...please take a moment and send some good vibes down there.
Praying for all the people of Houston and the greater Texas gulf coast area. A really good friend of mine @ralphgknows and houston resident set up a gofundme page to raise money to donate directly to the George R. Brown convention center that's serving as a shelter for #Harvey flood victims in Houston. Click the link in my bio to help. If all of us donated just a dollar, we can really help some folks in need. #prayforhouston
Tremendously thankful to be invited as the guest for the 47th episode of @blapchat podcast with my brother @illmindproducer@atlastheplug@loveperfection & @glamishere ! Had a really great time discussing my role with playboy, my puma collection, and my views on creativity as a whole. I really love talking to other creatives and exchanging that energy. Click the link in my bio to hear it. #blapchat
Monumental. I intentionally chose a color palette from all of our D.C. Pro teams to evoke a sense of hometown pride and excitement when anyone from the area sees it. I created a composition where those colors were interwoven with each other indicative of how we are as a community. I hope this serves as a monument we can all stand for as Washingtonians. If you're ever in Southeast DC, come by and spread the love. #rfkskatepark by @kimshimwon
took me and my squad 2 1/2 weeks to complete this massive mural but a little paint can do a lot for the local community. One of the biggest things that stuck out to me was this one mother and her son. They came about a handful of times while we were painting, and skated in the parking lot. The son was just starting to skate but the mother was so proud and excited. Like you know when those pro ballers surprise their moms with a house or a car? Like that excited! Every moment she could encourage him with positive and empowering words she did, every angle she could capture on video she did. We were over 300 feet away from them, but u could hear and feel the love coming from her. It was amazing. I really hope what we've accomplished here will entice more families from the community to enjoy their city and spend time with their kids like this one mother did... and to all the local artists and creatives who grew up in these streets like I did, YOU CAN DO IT TOO! From your city, in your city! Band together, rise together.
Over the last month me and my team @jesse_kassel@odyssydublin worked in conjunction with @blindwhino and @eventsdc to create a mural on the #RFKskatepark in my hometown of Washington DC. I'm humbled and thankful for this opportunity to beautify and revitalize my community by painting the largest scale piece I've done to date. It took a lot of great people, a tremendous amount of effort to accomplish this, please help us celebrate bringing the community together today (sunday). We'll be unveiling the newly painted skate park with a block party from Noon to 6pm... food, music, pro skate demos, and give aways, its free and all ages are welcomed!
A mural I did in conjunction with @1xrun and @mtv in Brooklyn during this past inauguration to promote peace & equality. The theme we collectively came up with is ever present now as it was the day we began to paint it... while I'm disgusted and baffled as to why these white supremacist terror groups were allow to even gather in public and terrorize that community, I feel it's even more important now to promote peace and inclusion regardless of race, color, creed, gender or sexual orientation in the face of fear and hate. @withlovemelissa and I sat up late last nite to explain the events that unfolded yesterday in Charlottesville to our daughter. We explained that although acts like these aren't a new phenomenon in America, it's important not to normalize or accept racism and hate. We need to expect more love and compassion from one another as humans. That's the only way we'll even begin to try to rid this society of these poisons. These cowardice tiki torch intimidation tactics can't budge the love and understanding we have for one another as a society. Teach this next generation the ways of love and you give them the tools to defeat hate.
Just a word or two on this current vs issue that's been headlining the news for the last few days... Our small island in the pacific has been an integral foothold for any military desiring to control the Pacific Ocean since WW2. Since the Battle of Guam in 1944 between Japan and the US our people have enjoyed the liberties of being a US territory i.e. US citizenship, corrosive cultural integration, Spam, K-Mart, and most importantly protection by the worlds biggest military. I say all this because the US military didn't show up on our shores in 1944 because they cared about our people, it was a strategic necessity; a means to take control of a massive region to tip the scales of leverage in the War as described in the history books in public schools throughout the States. Oddly enough, Our people of Guam are proud to play such an important role in the US Military's strategy, the tip of the spear. We're proud to call ourselves Americans, but we are humans first and we are REAL people with REAL families that live REAL lives. We have a REAL cultural history that existed before 1944, before the Japanese occupation, before Magellan came in the name of Spain. We're not a pawn in the chess game of world affairs. The stakes in this issue like every other issue in the world involving brut military force are REAL. I pray that nothing more comes from this issue than posture and words. #bibaguahan
