・・・ #motivationmonday Check out this transitioning Curl The top is showing my natural pattern that has come in. The front of my hair took the most damage during my straightening days I was so serious about getting those fly aways and edges down. You can see how thin my hair was and my lack of curl pattern prior to transitioning. As you guys know, I didn't big chop, I'm using the "Transition & Trim" method You can see how much thicker the new growth is compared to the damaged hair Scalp rubs with oil are a huge factor here for pour stimulation and growth promotion Not to mention I'm loving that natural curl pattern. Be sure you are practicing proper scalp health and a good routine to bounce those curls back to life Thank goodness the rest of my hair was more resilient than the front or I may of had to big chop
The difference between being around negativity and positivity is mind blowing. Check your surroundings and make sure that you only keep positive, optimistic and loving people close to you. Do away with all negative energy for your mental and emotional health
I challenged myself to try something different and the lemonade braids where the first on my list, please tag me in other hairstyles you'd like me to do. I used a really dark purple and regular purple kanekalon hair, mixed them both to achieve this, hope you like it
From dusty twists to a poppin twist out just a little natural girl magic lol. I wore my twists almost 3 days before I took them out. I really just needed an easy protective style so I could not be bothered with my hair for a few days. I have a crazy amount of school work now that we are in the middle of the semester and doing my hair everyday seems like a chore sometimes I would just throw on a bandana or put my twists in a little ponytail everyday and since I got a few compliments so I figured why not share! To take advantage of this protective style I would very lightly spritz water over my head then apply @sunnyislejbco castor oil to my scalp and ends to seal in the moisture. I’ve used this method for months now and it has definitely helped me retain some of my length. Castor oil doesn’t work for everyone but it’s been very useful in my hair growth journey!
