Dear @littlebatbar thank you again for another #TastingTuesday journey with the good people of @patron the respardo is still my favourite. Interesting finding out that the Gold is the most commercial of the catalogue.
Yesterday afternoon was a busy work day with the @glassmatesuk at #ThinkRum2018. The Free Pour table was a mixed bag of greatness, surprises and filth (pepper rum is disgusting!). We got to meet some great industry folks and as always the interest in what we are about to do was encouraging and humbling.
After we went all in on the steak at @blacklockchops it only felt right to peruse the dessert menu. Bread and butter pudding you says? Doused in Bourbon you say? Bring one over we say! The consistency of this classic dessert brought a huge smile to our faces. The perfect density of the pudding has us wondering if they used Brioche for the bread. And the almost biscuit like golden crust made this truly decadent (yep we're using decadent).
Anyone willing to admit that these look like Hi-Tec that you would have been bullied for back in the day? They look mouldy like they've been sat in the discount basket at Payless shoes for a year or so.
