After I took 30 photos to finally get one "good one" I realized I love all the ridiculous ones more. They say #ItsTheSmallThingsYouMiss I hope I'm never too far away from them. They make me laugh more than I scream so that's all in all a success. ~
Do you love your crazy family photos or the ideal portrait? DM me your silliest family photo. I won't post it just wanna see it
Hard work and the fascination with heavy equipment crosses all borders. This crane was driving these wooden posts to create separation between the gondolas. The Crane was on a boat. The trash pick up came today......on a boat. It's amazing to watch an area function completely without cars or trucks
What is something you can't help but stop and watch? ○
Nothing is easy to capture in Photos. The Roman Forum is about 12 feet below the current level of Rome. Much had been excavated to reveal the beauty of the past. Most of these ancient dwellings were robbed of their Marble and Bronze doors to "recycle" into the building of 950 Catholic Churches in Rome. 950!!! However we just spent the Afternoon with the Only True God at a beautiful English meeting at the congregation in Rome #blessedtoknowthetruth #knowthetruth *
Are you excited to clean up this Earth????
Today we walked through over 2000 years of History. We saw places our brothers and sisters were tortured and killed for holding to their faith and where Christianity became corrupted. It was an impressive and memorable experience. #RomeNeverDisappoints#ArchofTitus#tips4italiantrips

Al Fresco style painting is painting made in the wet plaster. The plaster dries and absorbs the color lasting for centuries. These Al Fresco have lasted over 500 years. In addition the term we now use for Art Gallery came from the Italian word Galleria to describe a long corridor lined with statues, typically covered but open air. For Obvious reasons the Galleria is now closed with windows.
However my suggestion to you is don't forget to look up. You may find the most beautiful things are above you.........unless you are walking under a ledge lined with Pigeons......then run!
One could say they were contemplating the best route to take to the lift but I KNOW way more was going on in those young growing minds. Experiences, like these, are impetuous behind our desire to travel with our sons.......realities that can't be expressed even in a really flawless photo. Today as we Snowboarded, yes we crossed international borders from Switzerland to France to Italy , but I feel they crossed borders in their minds. Borders created by ourselves and what we think we are and we aren't and who we think others are and aren't. Maybe I put too much thought into these experiences. But I don't think so......hope that I'm not. ×××××××××××××
What about you? What experience did you have that helped open your horizons?

At times posts about family travel are all "fluff". We see the "pretty, the dream, the perfection" Truth be told traveling as a family is more stressful than being at home as a family. "What!? Why!? You are living your dream," you say. Well because we are family, we love each other but sometimes we need our space and we are together 24/7. We are often in areas there is no one that speaks our language. We lose our routine, meal times, personal space, favorite items and our cool. Yes truth is we argue, we get mad and irritated. So don't think life is perfect traveling but more often than not it is TRULY AMAZING!!
