My client was told her black box die would only be removed by adding thick highlights all over her hair. The results were tragic, her hair was taken to the point of breakage because she used a high level lighter to lighten as much in one session. This is why it’s important to do it in steps especially when your hair is damaged already from overlapping box colors. The highlighted areas ripped half way and was left with small pieces all around so the amount of hair she lost was abundant. The Correction I made was like this... I separated all lighted parts and carefully added a low lightner on all the dark areas I also added a treatment inside the lightner so it would condition her hair at the same time. Rinsed, blow dried and now added a semi permanent hair color to fill in all open pores in her hair so that her hair would not reject color. *when a Hair is this much damaged it tends not grab color so it washes off*
After I applied semi I rinsed and dried. I applied after a permanent color with 7vol to deposit color, gave her a treatment and cut her hair to give her a style that would blend with all broken pieces. This job took about 5 hours. My client was extremely happy as much as I was. #colorcorrection#matrix#joico#licensetocreate#hairstylist#colorist#balayage#ombre#healthyhair#paulmitchell#blondehair#cosmetologist
My client came in for a color retouch this morning but Since she’s celebrating her Valentine’s Day today I decided to gift her the makeup application.
Iv been doing her hair for about 3 years now, she’s been loyal to my services since day one and just like I take care of her Hair there has not been one holiday where she doesn’t gift me something(small or big it doesn’t matter) but what matters is we’ve created more than just a stylist/ client bond. I appreciate all my clients who take the time to come and see me and value my friendship as well. Love you all
