This came to be yesterday after I had finished 2 hours of burpees (training for 24 hour @guinnessworldrecords ). I was being too cocky and saying how easy 2 hours was, forgetting that my body was so pumped with adrenaline and endorphins that I probably thought I could've taken over the world if I wanted to
The point is, this shows how GOOOOOD exercise makes you feel! Whether it's low intensity or high intensity, just getting moving will release the hormones to make you feel amazing.
This ties in massively with why I will be doing this world record attempt for @mindcharity (fundraising page soon..!) because if you struggle with mental health issues, whether that's stress, anxiety, depression and so on, taking some small steps to making time for some exercise can be hugely beneficial.

True especially for myself today after a brilliant week of training!
The only goal in fitness is to be better than you used to be... Recovery could mean many things. For example, the fitter you are, the quicker you'll be able to recover mid training session, with your heart rate returning closer to resting HR before the next set starts or then next high intensity interval begins.
However, you can also look at recovery after the physical stress has finished, and how quick your body is able to repair itself in time to go again the next day.
Ultimately, the speed of your recovery is very important for progress, because the quicker you recover, the more training you'll be able to fit into your life. And we all know that when we take advantage of the training variables of progression, overload and increasing volume, improvement of your fitness is inevitable.
Today's bodyweight HIIT circuit! Let's some FAT!
40 seconds on each exercise with a 20 second rest between them! X 4 rounds.

Overnight peanut butter oats! This could be your breakfast tomorrow! So easy!
Mix 200ml unsweetened almond milk, 1tbsp chia seeds, 1tbsp peanut butter, 45g oats, and a scoop protein powder.
Cover and leave in the fridge overnight and then add any fresh fruit or berries on top and off you go!
Easy to take to work and eat as you go.
I used @hipronutrition peanut butter & @reflexnutrition protein powder!

This video contains every exercise in today's push & pull (chest & back) session! (With some abs at the end)
Some sets were standard single sets, but most of them were supersets (connected exercises with no rest between them)
The entire session worked on a 8-12 rep range for 3 sets.
Nothing special about today's session... BUT don't under estimate the value of #Crocking the basics consistently!
I'm planning on doing the 24 hour burpee challenge around mid June, but nothing will stop me doing some fun bodybuilding workouts to keep this muscle

When you pray to the universe that a 10k run with salvage your six pack from the ridiculous amounts of chocolate consumed ♂️ To be successful in your health, fitness & physique you need more than just a long term training & nutrition plan. If you want to be in shape all year round so you feel and look awesome for every calendar event such as birthdays, summer holidays and parties etc, then you also need be tactical day by day especially around events like easter, Christmas and other traditions that involve being over indulgent.
A lot of people live with two extremes and spend their time jumping from one to the other - being 'perfect' or, completely 'off the rails'. If off the rails was 1 and perfect was 10, then I spend most of my time at 8. It's a happy place to be!
It means I don't feel restricted, it means I have bunch of salads before I appreciate a big burger, it means I can have 10 Easter eggs and do a 10k run the next day and not feel bad, it means I can live life satisfied knowing I could be happy living the same balance in 10 years time.
Have a plan that keeps you focused long term, but also make the short term / daily adjustments necessary to make progress.
