Same style exactly 1 year apart! From day to day it can really feel like our hair isn't growing or getting healthier, well atleast that's how I was feeling. So I'm excited to see all my hard work and TLC paying off
New year, new hair #2018
Can’t believe I’ve been contemplating bangs for so long! The hair in the front of my head grows much faster than the rest and has been in an awkward shape for so long. Last night, I washed my hair and just went for it A few inches makes all the difference!
P.S. I have so much new footage to share with you guys. Editing in progress! #deytangled
Wooden combs are a must to maintain healthy and lavish natural hair. @NETERGOLD combs were designed specifically for curly & kinky hair; designed to transfer oils to the hair while also massaging the scalp to stimulate growth via blood circulation. We often neglect the skin beneath the hair and wonder why our hair has yet to prosper. Your hair is like a forest which draws it's nutrients from the ground beneath it. Care for your skin, care for your soul, care for your heart.
WOW!! Just found this random hat photo from 2016 & look at how much my hair has changed!!! Woooooow! This is why it’s SO important to TAKE PICTURES!! We see ourselves every day so sometimes we don’t even NOTICE our progress! What did I do all 2017 you ask? You’ll learn in tomorrow’s video & YOU can do it too! I also got a trim AND more color in 2017! 🧐
Sidenote: Cheap hat vs High quality @tressforus hat
Old phone pic in bad lighting vs Sony A5100 camera & ring light! Upgrade your life every year!!
Last weeks look ♀️Recently my hair has not been cooperating with me AT ALL! I don’t know what it is buut last week I was able to pull it together with this lil’ twist & style. I know I’ve been MIA from YouTube lately but I’ll be back in 2018 with hair tutorials (promise!) For now I’ll be posting a mini insta-sized tutorial of this look in a sec!
Although my hair was nowhere near as healthy as it is now and my curls were still a work in progress, you’ll never see me talk badly about how my hair used to look before or during transitioning. In the picture on the left, that was one of the best hair days that I had for the first time in a while.. and I felt amazing! If I would never say anything negative about someone else’s hair who is currently transitioning, why should I talk down on my own? One thing that I want all of you to know is this... no matter what stage your hair is currently at, it is beautiful. I feel that this is something we forget along the way because we tend to compare our journeys to someone else’s, but your hair/journey is just as amazing as anyone else’s... because it’s YOURS. Never forget that!
