I only ever plan for 3 days because I expect my calendar ๐Ÿ“† to implode ๐Ÿ’ฃ I stick to smoothie ingredients, salad ingredients and a few proteins to throw on top (salmon salad & hard boiled eggs this week) and ONLY three dinners.
This week we are making tacos ๐ŸŒฎ, a big chicken salad ๐Ÿ— ๐Ÿฅ— using my lemon chicken recipe from the book and grass fed streaks from my @butcher_box with kabucha squash and these organic baby Brussels.
1๏ธโƒฃwashed and chopped ๐Ÿƒ into my @oxo containers, including cutting the ends of each of these lil guys.
2๏ธโƒฃwhipped up salmon salad with @primalkitchenfoods mayo and @wildplanetfoods sockeye salmon
3๏ธโƒฃshake up a tahini dressing:
1 cup water
1/2 cup tahini
Juice of one small ๐Ÿ‹
1 tbsp of garlic powder
1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
Salt to taste - if you like it thinner add more ๐Ÿ’ฆ
4๏ธโƒฃ I did it all waiting for my pasture raised ๐Ÿฅ“ to be ready for brunch, the ๐Ÿฅ“ extras will probably end up on that chicken salad ๐Ÿฅ— #easybreezy @pedersonsfarms

Just finished up speaking at today's @doyennedinners (or brunch ๐Ÿณin this case). Doyenne is a group that invites Doyenne's (Women at the TOP of their field) to collaborate, create and share. I was beyond honored to speak to a room of powerhouses.... Actors, Music Executives, Lawyers, Writers and Entrepreneurs. Each individually successfully but as a group....unstoppable! .....and I curated the menu. #bwbkfab4 #fab4meal
This ๐Ÿฅ— was loaded with ribboned veggies ๐Ÿฅ•greens ๐Ÿƒ perfectly cooked ๐Ÿณ shredded chicken and ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Serrano for ๐Ÿ”ฅ..... it paired great with the cool ๐Ÿฅ’ spa smoothie.

My favorite tip for salad dressing? I keep all my homemade dressings in a mason jar with a blender ball.
Zero mess. Plus, when the olive oil gets hard you can pull it out of the fridge, shake it and it returns to room temp faster. ๐Ÿ’ฏ
I also did 3 things in under 20 minutes yesterday that made today awesome and easy.

Are you into yogurt? Noah from @thecoconutcult hooked me up with some coconut ๐ŸŒด yogurt this weekend at #mbgrevitalize .... which inspired me to share my favorite ways to make a yogurt #bwbkfab4 ๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿป I โค๏ธ mixing in a serving of collagen protein (vanilla or plain flavor), adding a tbsp or two of fiber (flax, chia or acacia) and topping it with nuts, seeds or even better stirring in a tbsp of nut butter!! (Almond butter and coconut yogurt is basically coconut cream pie!) I keep the fruit to 1/4 cup and low glycemic. I normally avoid granola because even the "healthy" granola uses a sugar and I just refuse to start my day that way most of the time. #talkaboutcravings

I am not going to get to it now but sugar is sugar..... honey, maple whatever...... it biologically breaks down to the same monosaccharides and the hormone cascade is the same ....if I want sugar I will eat it....but, I am not going to be that girl ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿป who makes nutrition claims like "yah, I get my magnesium and calcium from ๐Ÿฏ " ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

Dried fruit is REALLY sweet naturally and something I use with clients who โค๏ธcandy. Golden berries work wonders for sour candy addicts. It's a great replacement when heading to the ๐ŸŽฅ or with ๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿป kiddos. But, it is very high in sugar and because its dried and the ๐Ÿ’ฆ content is gone we can easily eat way more (also dopamine and sugar = no OFF button) so be aware and only buy a serving size or split up a bag.
Oh and don't be that ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿป who only drinks "no sulfite added ๐Ÿท" but downs a bag of dried mango๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธwithout checking the bag....Dried fruits are among the foods highest in sulfites, with raisins and prunes containing between 500 and 2,000 parts per million. By comparison, wine -- a food thought by many to be high in sulfites -- contains between 20 and 350 parts per million.
For dried fruit ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ“....... it's best to find a natural source/make it yourself with lemon juice and if you're buying it in the store ๐Ÿ‘€ for the ingredient "sulfur dioxide". If it's made the ingredient list there is over 10 ppm intentionally added.
Sulfites are used as a food preservative or enhancer. They may come in various forms, such as:
โ€ขSulfur dioxide, which is not a sulfite, but a closely related chemical oxide
โ€ขPotassium bisulfite or potassium metabisulfite
โ€ขSodium bisulfite, sodium metabisulfite or sodium sulfite

We had our first Sukiyaki experience in Kyoto last night and it was ๐Ÿ˜‹ delicious! Thinly sliced beef, rice noodles and veggies are sautรฉed at your table and then you dip it into golden yolks.
