I have had so many questions lately about how to "Fab Four" as a vegan and if I ever eat meat free meals and the answer is "Yes, of course!" If I am eating a vegan meal.....I focus on the veggies! I love them raw, roasted, blanched or sautéed and I normally dress them with a healthy fat and/or protein dressing like a Tahini. I might add extra slivered nuts or seeds too to add protein and make it more filling. For my vegetarians, add a fried egg!
If I do decided to add beans, quinoa or rice it's because I want it not because I consider it "protein" -- that being said, I don't eat "fake" vegan "meat" proteins. But, I do have some vegan clients who use no gmo pea protein "meat crumbles" occasionally but I still always advise to avoid any processed soy proteins because of phytoestrogen content. #bwbkfab4#fab4vegetarian

Ok....we did it! So many things to come in season 7 and the bar was set pretty high tonight. Dino Kale, Sliced Radish, Sliced Fuji Apple, Toasted Pecans (throw raw pecans in pan on medium heat turning for a few minutes until toasted to taste burn) & organic goat . Dressing: 1/4 cup olive oil, 3 tbsp juice, 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tbsp Dijon, 1 tbsp Manuka and a pinch of salt. : 8 hard boiled eggs peeled and sliced in 1/2. Remove yolks and place in food processor with 1/2 cup @primalkitchenfoods mayo and 2 tsp Dijon pulsing to combine. yolk mixture back into egg 1/2s and shake smoked paprika on top!
Doing the "French Press" thing until we figure out what type of maker to buy. We had the cuisnart (that grinds the beans too) but we are open to new suggestions and currently scouring the internet...any help would be greatly appreciated. ♀️ : is considered the No. 1 beverage for anti-aging effects (and top 5 for foods) and loaded with antioxidants that protect against free radical damage....research suggests coffee might even contain more polyphenol antioxidants than cocoa, green tea, black tea and herbal tea so whether your into it or over it..... Glorious little at @sohohouse in Weho this am I had a question that I thought was worth sharing..."how do I know the content of fructose in food?" - my answer "well, it's not specifically on the label it's all wrapped into carbohydrates/sugar grams - so you can look up average fructose grams in the specific food you are eating via google or ditch the drama and simply taste it...fructose is the sweet sugar so if it's really sweet like or a little will go a long way!"
