Hey guys, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if you don’t like something I post(art, subject matter, opinions), feel free to unfollow or scroll past. I’ve been told off multiple times over the past few days(by total strangers who seem to think being a fan/follower means they’re entitled to tell me what a terrible person I am) and while I appreciate people having opinions and input, I don’t appreciate nasty criticism or insults. You never know what someone is going through outside of social media, so be kind or be silent. I would never follow someone just to be rude to them about what they post, and I politely request that you consider the same path. And to those who have been supportive and respectful, I love and appreciate you more than I can fully express
So here’s some answers for the babes that asked questions....
Cosplay/makeup recreations of my art are totally awesome, please tag me so I can see and admire your spin on my artworkI’m generally okay with people getting my art tattooed, however PLEASE ASK ME beforehand, via dm or email(in IG bio). Taking something without asking is theft, regardless of intended flatteryI’m inspired by most everything, but in particular, nature, human behavior, and pop cultureMy biggest fear as an artist is stagnation and/or boredomI’ve always had a natural affinity for creating, thanks to my parents being artistic, but getting better comes down to one thing: practice. You can’t improve a skill if you don’t use it. Even if you get frustrated with something, just take a step back, do something else or go on an adventure. You can only fail if you don’t try in the first place! And if you aren’t satisfied with where you’re at skill wise, try your hand at something new or different. Even changing up your drawing utensils can help.My favorite food is avocados...or pizza. It’s too bad avocados aren’t that great on a pizza(I tried once and it was kind of gross).
What I think when people “borrow” my artwork without asking/crediting the source. I don’t actually hate you, but I definitely judge the lack of etiquette. And for those of you who take the time to ask or credit me, I you and you are obviously classy AF. (PS. No specific shade is being thrown here. It’s just a general opinion situation.)
