So I found out recently I have a annular tear in the outer part of my disk L4L5 which means no more heavy Olympic lifting for me. It may heal it may not but doing what I was every day will keep me in pain and only make it worse. It was getting to the point where I couldn't sit for more than a couple minutes I was in so much pain. Waiting to get some steroid injections to hopefully help. I figure I'd rather be able to get out of bed in the morning and be able to pick up my daughter than lift heavy stuff for no reason every day. Decided to make the 100% move to body building. Instead of getting down about the injury I've decided to take a new journey of fitness. Here is where I will be starting out at, weighed in at 202 this morning and sitting around 9% body fat. Going to see what I can turn my body into over the next however many months. Here we go. #fitness #bodybuilding #unbroken #hardtokill

When your yoga studio @latitude44yoga is doing a month long challenge and you are traveling. Unable to attend class for the challenge but did my own flow after a workout and am posting anyways! A little late of a post but I got the pleasure of being able to meet up with @nocoastphoto while in Chicago for work. Probably been about 3 years since we've seen one another but it's important to keep those friendships you build especially with all the Fury fun we've experience together over the years. It's almost like it was yesterday we were a couple privates showing up together not knowing what to expect. Thanks for coming out man hope to do it again soon.

Went in today planning to max my snatch and clean and jerk and then hit a wod @sherwood215 posted the other day of 21-15-9 bike cals and rower cals. Felt my hip out of place warming up so I sadly had to adjust so I didn't hurt myself. Decided to add to the wod and do

Yesterday went a lot better than the day before when i felt like a stone man. 1st training session consisted of a 3.5 mile run with stairs and then 10rds of 5strict pull ups 10 push-ups and 15 air squats with the vest.
Evening consisted of
clean+pp up to 225
3x3 snatch pulls at 235
HS Front squat 315(305shown)
Power position snatch work up to 195 with the squad.

After 3 days of traveling 1 flight and 30 hours of driving by myself, my back was so tight and compressed I couldn't pick up 50lbs or even do a reverse hyper to try and help it lol. Went with a full on body building day, crushed shoulders and some arm things I don't normally do with a lot of body weight lower body and lower back health mixed in throughout. I think this was from Friday. Hit a snatch + 2 touch and go snatch complex up to 200(195 shown) and smoked an easy 225 snatch that my camera cut out on. Hit a little clean +2 front squat +jerk complex today. Did 3 working sets at 265, here is my last set. Jerks still need some work but I'll get there. Followed this up with some 3x5 clean pulls 3x3 bench and some drop set bench.
