Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife (@fuzzyfawn)

Thank you to everyone who checked in on me. I wasn’t home all weekend so I haven’t released my fab 4! I promise I will let you know when I do. James is happy at his new home, Hamlet was euthanized because of internal bleeding and the 10 rescues over the weekend in my video story were euthanized because of car collisions. What surprised me is how many of you asked why I euthanized them?? I always try to keep you updated on my doings but with as little information as possible because no one else should have the images in their mind that I will always carry in mine... the “least” graphic Deer rescue I handled this weekend had no back legs, torn off on impact... I hope that gives you an idea why I don’t go into details. In my heart I know I’m saving them no matter what the outcome may be.... Also thank you for the birthday wishes ❤️ #alllivesmatter #bestnonpayingjobever #kindnessmatters #bittersweet

It’s been a long few days and nights! Every 2 hours I’ve been massaging/exercising Hamlets front legs. He had no circulation and more than likely a little nerve damage. When I lift him up his back legs had strength to stand but his front legs could not extend. With a little help straightening them out he was able to stand on his own finally!! They’re still not 100% but I’m working on it. The second video was about an hour after standing and me massaging them, he was getting a little full of himself. When I stretched out my legs he didn’t seem to like my boots and was trying to stomp at them!! 😉 Which was great exercise and strengthening 👍 We’ve formed a special trust, he tolerates me and I love him.😊❤️ #bestnonpayingjobever #alllivesmatter #kindnessmatters

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife (@fuzzyfawn)

Hamlet was dug out of thick icy mud, not sure how long he was stuck in it. Good news is nothing broken 👍 but his temperature was extremely low and he has no circulation in his legs. He cannot stand and support himself. Long night and day of warming him with heating pads, warm fluids and lots of massage therapy on his legs. His temperature is normal as of this evening and he’s eating well. From here out it will be around the clock leg therapy and helping him stand. Thank you Jill @jillzy1004 for bringing me caffeine and apples/pears for the fawns, even after I cancelled your appointment to help Hamlet ❤️#bestnonpayingjobever #bestfriends #support

Good Morning!!! I was looking for Boo this morning and she was 10ft from me, laying in the snow and I couldn’t see her. She was motionless 👍 Her coat in the snow is outstanding camouflage. Much needed acknowledgements this morning, Huge thank you to @elbasmeow @lacree2 @dalliekat @teri_cristine @brushesnblunts , I apologize but I cannot find some of your Instagram names Norma S, Michelle T, and Erin A!!! PLEASE if I haven’t acknowledged you let me know. The gift thank you paper from Amazon is very small and it gets lost in the packaging. Thank you also to everyone who has sent a PayPal donation!!!! Always grateful for my Jenny @jennyp2017 no words for her devotion, generosity and kindness. I wouldn’t have my Etsy shop without her🙏 ! Everything you have purchased will help me save a lot of babies this season. We’re saving lives together 🙏❤️ #teamwork #bestnonpayingjobever #grateful

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife (@fuzzyfawn)

I’ve received several emails about items in my Etsy shop. All the prints will come without any kind of watermark or stamp. I’m excited about my newest item, 10 note cards, featuring 2 each of the 5 photos I selected. I added the names just for Etsy so you know which Fawn they are and of course little Chester the bunny! Thank you always for your support and generosity!!! We’re helping save lives together 🙏 #bestnonpayingjobever #thankyou #grateful #teamwork

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife (@fuzzyfawn)

I made a video of just a handful of fawns we rescued together!!! This past season I took in 78 fawns that needed help, not all make it but we’re still saving them from suffering. Every item you purchase from my Etsy shop, PayPal donation and purchases from my Amazon Wish List helps me help them. I feel horrible for my mail lady because she’s delivered about 35 boxes since Monday!!! I’m getting so many ideas and requests for Etsy items, I wish I could do everything you ask for. We’re adding new items now and we have a few more coming!!! One particular I think you will love but it won’t be ready for a couple weeks. The link in my profile will take you to all my other account links such as Etsy, PayPal,Amazon,etc.... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND KINDNESS 🙏❤️ #savinglivestogether #bestnonpayingjobever #loveyouguys #grateful

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife (@fuzzyfawn)

I have no idea how this happened but I absolutely love it!! No editing at all! I took it with my Canon, apparently over exposed. The snow definitely helped. What do you think?🤔 Your response is amazing! I just added this print to my Etsy Shop, link in profile🙏#bestnonpayingjobever #loveit❤️ #james

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife (@fuzzyfawn)

Everyone is doing well! James walks out of fawn house towards the end. When I first took him in, all he wanted was me. He’s never been around another deer. Now James is interacting more with the fawns. It’s hilarious watching him run and play because he doesn’t know how. He’s like a big baby Huey 😊but he’s learning. The Christmas tree laying on the ground is where he likes to sleep. #bestnonpayingjobever #myloves #learning

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife (@fuzzyfawn)

Swipe right for more fun😊Boo pads are going fast and there are still a few calendars left!! Boo gave her pad the seal of approval. James, Mocha and Nugget were a little upset they didn’t have their own and Buddy, the last video went straight for the Boo pad. He knows his sweet heart anywhere 😉❤️ Etsy shop link in my profile! Thank you for your support 🙏 #myboo #myloves #bestnonpayingjobever #models #spokesmodel

Thank you always for your support, kindness, generosity and always having my back!! I love my Instagram family 🙏❤️ #thankyou #bestnonpayingjobever #support #myboo

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife (@fuzzyfawn)

The infamous photo!! Please read the second/third part of video. @kendalljenner posted my photo, do I think she took it from my gallery, Absolutely not. I’m sure she found it somewhere without credit, liked it enough to post and that is what I told @tmz_tv when “THEY” reached out to me through Facebook and my email. I also explained to them why it’s important to me for my photos to have credit. If you know anything about TMZ, you know they like to put their “spin”on stories to draw in more viewers, I understand that also, it’s their business. When I see one of my photos/videos reposted I always try and get that account to give credit, Why... because I am a volunteer, any exposure helps my cause that I put my heart and soul into 24/7!! Everything I do is for the fawns in my care! I always appreciate you having my back, helping and supporting my efforts🙏 Im not into all this drama!! What surprised me this morning was a long time follower who said she had to unfollow and block me because of what “I” did, going to the press!! In over 500 post and captions I have been nothing but honest and consistent with who I am and what I stand for. If you can easily dismiss me because you read an article from a rag magazine, please unfollow now. I love my instagram family but I did not ask for this kind of publicity. #fakenews STILL #bestnonpayingjobever

I shared James story to educate and let you know when rehabbing Wildlife, not every rescue is a Disney Happy Ending. I’m licensed by NYS, which means I have to follow laws and regulations that are very strict when it comes to Whitetail Deer. Deer cannot be transported across state line due to spreading disease, there are no Deer sanctuaries in NYS nor can I take a Deer to live at a zoo and I absolutely cannot keep a deer on my property after September 15th without permission. I am very proud of my working relationship with our DEC regional director. He’s gone to bat for me several times. I’ve built my reputation on knowledge, trust and honesty... because of that, I have received permission to keep Boo, Nugget, Mocha, Buddy....... and NOW JAMES!!!!!🙏👍❤️😊 I’ve said it before, Please trust me and the process. It may not always turn out as we like but I will always fight for the deer in my care if I think I can help it... #bestnonpayingjobever #faith

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife (@fuzzyfawn)

James from last post. I pleaded my case yesterday, waiting for a response from the DEC. Do I like all the regulations I have to follow no, do I understand them, yes. I’ve had James since Sunday, watching his behavior... not good. I want you all to imagine having a newborn puppy for 7 months, you loved him, cared for him, introduced him to all your friends, family & neighbors. Gave him everything he needed to eat and drink, loved him, gave him hugs and kisses, keeping him inside every night etc... Now take that 7 month old puppy as far away as possible, far from absolutely everything into the forest away from the only life he has ever known and leaving him there to fend for himself..... Will that puppy survive, NO. James is that puppy. He is still a fawn even though he’s big he knows nothing about being a Deer. He doesn’t even know how to interact with my fawns. There are no sanctuaries for Whitetail Deer in NYS. If I don’t have permission to keep him and try my hardest to get him wild, he will have to be put down. A deer this size at 7 months is going to be a monster with extremely dangerous antlers as he gets older. He doesn’t play with the fawns but when he tries to play with me his strength is incredible. He could kill someone being playful. I’m not mad at my regulations, I’m extremely angry for the people who took him in. Fawn season is coming, PLEASE LEAVE THOSE ADORABLE LITTLE BABIES ALONE!!! Those babies grow into huge adults fast!! James may loose his life because of someone’s selfishness...

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife (@fuzzyfawn)

James is a 7/8 month old buck. His mom was killed in a car collision in June. The people who found him did the best they could caring for him. Unfortunately without other fawns or proper knowledge in caring for a fawn, he is friendly. Even though friendly, a buck in rut can be extremely dangerous. A cute baby Fawn buck grows into a powerful 200plus animal. He cannot be released for that reason and being raised as a pet he has no knowledge how to forage or survive on his own. I’m hoping with a new, strange environment and other fawns he’ll become skittish. I’ll know if I can keep him tomorrow after I talk to our regional DEC director. The video I put together is from when I arrived at home in my vehicle, James laying in my fawn pen, the others checking him out while I prepare a sedative reversal. He wakes up slowly but wobbly then enters the big pen and of course the last part of my video is nurse Boo welcoming him🙏 #bestnonpayingjobever

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife (@fuzzyfawn)

If you saw my video story, I made frozen pumpkin cubes! The other fawns were suspicious at first but Nugget grabbed one so fast she almost choked 😳 while eating one she was doing her happy dance 😁🎃 #experimenting #bestnonpayingjobever #lovemylife #happiness #happydance

Fuzzy Fawn Wildlife (@fuzzyfawn)
