Tonight's mask is Pure Nature Mask - White Pearl from Secriss. I got this mask (and also the Honey variant) from @altheakorea for Php52 or just about $1. I've never heard or tried anything from the brand so I thought, why not? I was intrigued by the packaging and it's claims. This mask claims to have a highly enriched ampoule that helps in delivering moisture to the skin. It also claims to have pearl extracts to make the skin tone clean and bright.
Fit wasn't great. The eyeholes were a bit too big for me. It had flaps for proper positioning but even then, it was still too big for my face.
It had a clear, runny essence with a bit of a soapy scent. The sheet itself was a little thick and felt heavy on the face. It wasn't comfortable at all. I liked that the mask was cooling though, but that's just about the only thing I liked about it.
I didn't notice any brightening but I didn't expect much from the mask anyway. I'm just hoping it won't break me out or cause any problems to my skin. Will not repurchase. Has anybody tried this mask or any mask from this brand?
I'm so sleepy. I'm not even at work yet and I wanna go home already. Here's what's on the face this morning. // @bobbibrown Pot Rouge in Powder Pink; Long Wear Cream Shadow Stick in Sand Dune; @glossier Boy Brow in Black; @radioactivemushroomsitf Imagination Tint in Moon Nectar; @beccacosmetics Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone; @maccosmetics Persistence
This @whamisaskincare Organic Flowers Toner Deep Rich has been on my wishlist for quite some time now. Decided to finally get it thanks to the #abmidyearstashchallenge (and my enabler friends). I'm so excited to use this (and try the #3skinmethod or #7skinmethod with this)! Also, I think the frosted glass bottle is just too pretty.
Day 14 of the #abmidyearstashchallenge is 'Sleeping Pack'. I don't really use sleeping packs as much so not a lot in this category for me:
☾ @laneigeph Water Sleeping Mask
☾ #laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
☾ @cosrx Ultimate Moisturizing Overnight Honey Mask (unopened)
Skin type: Combo skin prone to dryness and redness in the cheek area
Day 13 of the #abmidyearstashchallenge is 'Sunscreen'. I wear sunscreen daily as the final step in my morning routine-- something I wish I learned to do when I was younger. I've found the @bioreph UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence SPF 50 works well for my skin so that's what I've been using. I keep one on my shelf, one in my makeup kit and one in my hospital duty kit (plus several backups coz I don't want to run out).
I'm obviously not experimental with my sunscreen so I was pretty excited when I received @bentoncosmetic's new Papaya D-Suncream SPF 38 for me to test and review (about 5 rows below this post). Looking forward to seeing what everyone uses, and maybe pick up a new product or two.

Got myself a little something when we passed by a store on the way to watching Spider-Man last weekend. I've been eyeing this for a while now but kept putting it off whenever I was at the mall. (Also because I'm on a supposed no-buy when it comes to makeup). Buuuut I've been tired and stressed lately, I needed a little something to pick me up. ♀️
Day 12 of the #abmidyearstashchallenge is 'Oils'. I have combo skin prone to dryness (and redness) in the cheek area so facial oils work wonders for my skin. I don't have any AB oils at the moment but here's what I have right now:
⠀ @sundayriley Luna Sleeping Oil @pixibeauty Rose Oil Blend @katesomerville Dilo Oil (Very travel friendly!) @odacite Pa+G and Po+R @nuxefrance Huile Prodigieuse @la_bellelune Organic Skin (Forever fave and forever repurchase! I can't remember how many times I've said that I love this.)
Day 10 of the #abmidyearstashchallenge is 'Eye Care' and this is where I hit the proverbial wall. I currently have just one product right now. I previously used the Kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado and while I loved that eye cream for hydration, I felt that I needed something that can brighten my undereye area as well. I don't have much problems in my undereye area though. I don't get puffy eyes even when I only get 4 hours of sleep. I just want something to brighten and delay the appearance of fine lines. I've been using up my samples in hopes of finding something that would pique my interest, and so far I've been unsuccessful.
Currently using: @korres.skincare Wild Rose Brightening Eye Cream. This applies easily, absorbs nicely and smells sooo yummy. I'm tempted to open my Korres Wild Rose Cleanser just to find out if it smells the same way. I love using this but I'm a bit confused if it's a daytime or nighttime eye cream. Their instructions only say to 'apply daily around the eyes, avoiding the upper eyelid area.' It has SPF 15 and I don't really like going to bed with SPF on my face so I tend to use this in the mornings only. Anyone else using this?
It's 2:45AM right now and I just finished a 16-hour shift a couple of hours ago. Why am I still up? Whhhhy. Anyway, this was my routine when I got home at around 1AM. ☾ Must. Get. Sleep.

Day 9 of the #abmidyearstashchallenge is 'Emulsion/Lotion'. I only have one item for each category, both of which coincidentally with the same star ingredient coming from birch!
⠀ @cosrx Oil-Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion (with Birch Sap) @enatureofficialusa Birch Juice Hydro Emulsion
They're both unopened though so I can't really say much about them except that the star ingredient is interesting. Looking forward to see what everyone uses for this step. Will probably fuel my FOMO but whatever. // Skin type: combo skin prone to dryness and some redness
Day 8 of the #abmidyearstashchallenge is 'Sheetmasks'. I thought of doing a flatlay but I got lazy so I'll just show where I store most of my sheet masks. I love sheet masking-- I do this atleast twice a week if my schedule permits. My favorites are the moisturizing and brightening kinds. I also keep some of my go-to masks in a pouch (see third photo) which I can easily bring whenever I travel. // Skin type: combo skin prone to dryness and some redness
