For @myhousethismonth today the theme is outside in and I love the feeling of nature indoors, whether it's being able to see outside from inside or simply having flowers around the house. This weeks are tulips and daffodils as I urge spring to join us for the party.
Enjoy your day all
Happy Wednesday hump day already!
It's tray today for #myhousethismonth and I've opted for our leather tray on the footstool in the drawing room. Ideal for candles, naturally, given my obsession. The handmade stone carved animals we brought back from Zimbabwe on our honeymoon and equally have pride of place.
Hope you have a wonderful day
Today's theme for #myhousethismonth is colour...yes or no? It got me thinking to decisions I made at the weekend. The sunshine of the last few days really lifted my spirits and I was keen for more colour around the house. The blue and white votives came back into play on the kitchen table, the purposeful flower choice of pinks and yellow and I know I've 5 weeks or so to go but the Easter wreath came out without a moments hesitation.
So in answer to the question, it's a definite yes from me, I'm in spring mood and colour rocks.
Although it's raining again today and that wasn't part of my plan!! @myhousethismonth#kitchentable#popsofcolour#coloursofspring#freshflowers#instinteriors#springtable#tulips#letthecolourin
I'm not a big fan of valentine's day and find it too commercial, I'm sounding like an old woman I know but I'm putting it out there! Do we need to be told a date in the year to show we care?
Today's theme for #myhousethismonth is 'love' and love is when you both independently buy a card with dachshunds on!
Think the dachshunds were the draw as it's common for us not even to exchange cards. I'm likely to divide opinion and sure others will love today and all it stands for.
Whichever camp you're in I hope you have a wonderful day and it's everything you want it to be @myhousethismonth#photochallenge#love#mantlepiece#valentinescard#dachshund#happywednesday#valentines#sayitwithdachshunds
Today's theme for @myhousethismonth is handmade and I'm opting for a purchase I made at the weekend of these handmade skincare products from @edinburghskinco.
I'm a sucker for products anyway and it was lovely to be able to try them at a market in Stockbridge on Sunday, also if something says anti aging I'm there!
They smell amazing and felt nice on my skin, will keep you posted on how I get on.
Hope you all have a wonderful day
Happy Monday didn't it come around quickly!! It's all fun and laughter on a weekend away, til the early alarm clock goes off on Monday for work again Today's @myhousethismonth theme is desk and I've opted for the desk in our snug.
I hope you all have a wonderful day
Today's theme for @myhousethismonth is window and I've opted for the beautiful windows of this glasshouse in Madrid. It's situated in the park and stands so elegantly amongst the trees. Really loved our break to Madrid, it's a great city and we have such fond memories of our visit.
Today's theme for #myhousethismonth is light it up and it's another one of my purchases from the @oliveandthefox warehouse sale, this glass domed lamp. It gives off a beautiful light, casting a shadow of the textured vases behind.
Today's theme for @myhousethismonth is words and numbers.... so it has to be Chanel No.5.
Coco Chanel had some great sayings as we know, a personal favourite of mine is...
'Success is most often achieved by those who don't know that failure is inevitable', - hope you achieve your goals today
Today's @myhousethismonth theme is look down, so here are this week's kitchen table flowers taken from above. Love to have some fresh flowers in the kitchen as we spend so much time in this room. Opted for roses this week Enjoy your day all
Day 5 for @myhousethismonth is metallic Monday and I'm opting for my new vases with the metal trimming. The texture to the glass and the touch of metal give a lovely glow against candle light. The larger of the two being great for taller stalks, like eucalyptus or willow.
Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead, let's do this
