I remember thinking how sneaky I was as a kid, especially in my teenage years but boy did I learn quick that there's always evidence! In my case it was no gas in my parents car and forgetting to take out the trash after a party, but in hers it was the chocolate all over her face and wall that gave it away.
The girls thought it was hilarious when they turned the blender on (full of smoothie) after I took the top off. My husband must of thought it was hilarious leaving three giant piles of dirty dishes in the sink, knowing I can't s t a n d doing dishes. Stella found it hilarious when she spit up all down my shirt while waiting at the bus stop (of course with nothing to clean it up with). I'm so glad today is almost over. Oh and apparently the girls are Pink Floyd fans
"Mom, I'm a woman now." Goodbye first baby tooth! I just recently heard the quote about having children, "The days are long but the years are fast" which is SO true. I can't believe how fast she's growing! #mybabyisgrowingup
Today, I was tested by the universe. I dropped, broke, burned, and smashed everything in my path. My girls acted crazy (as if there was a solar eclipse or something ) Every task I completed, I felt I was moving backwards. Anyone else felt off balanced today? Or is this just motherhood
It's been a crazy couple of weeks but these two ( and ) keep me on my toes! Ruby turned t h r e e and Stella is officially f i v e months old! I feel like my life recently has been like a NyQuil commercial (minus the NyQuil) "moms don't take sick days" even though all I want to do is crawl into bed and watch Netflix #honestmotherhood
The past couple of weeks we have all been sick, tired, cranky, busy, coughing, sneezing, teething, more busy, and just plain exhausted. Finding peace at the aquarium felt like a vacation for us. Summer is almost over and these two will be finally back in school! Did I mention how much I've hated summer?
Chocolate Zucchini Muffins! I honestly have no idea how I had time to make these delicious balls of heaven but the girls were "sooo bored" so I made it a fun activity for them! They love cooking like daddy We used shredded zucchini, cacao, coconut sugar, flax milk, vanilla, flour, baking powder, salt, coconut oil, and a flax egg (ground flax + water) So easy and beyond delicious! Now, if I can only train these monsters to clean up!
She found her first wiggly tooth tonight. I've never seen someone so excited for a silly little tooth before. I remember losing my two front teeth at the same time and my brother teased me and I was devastated. Besides looking like a hockey player, drinking out of a straw was kind of fun! (Luckily she doesn't have any brothers ) #childhoodunplugged
This chunky thighs little squirt learned how to flip over. Besides the explosive poops, it's her new favorite trick. I get so caught up with work and chasing around the other two, I forget about these little milestones. I'm going to blink one day and she'll be talking. I'm learning how to take time and give special attention to each of them. Motherhood is exhausting! (Now, if I could only clone myself ) #honestmotherhood
I made myself a pretty salad! (even though I realllllly wanted to eat pie ) I'm obsessed with hemp seeds. They have a great nutty flavor and packed with tons of protein & essential fatty acids I literally put them in everything we eat, the girls love them! Great in muffins too! Mmmm now I want pie...♀️#icantwin#goawaybabyweight
Ok so I'm totally taking advantage of our local farm's kale prices ($1.30 for 3lbs!) and juicing kale & watermelon on repeat SO GOOD Even the girls love it! (#momwin) GOODBYE baby weight! (I hope ) What's your favorite juice combo?!
