My sweet darling Stella, welcome to the cold my love. Winter can be magical but trust me, you'll be dreaming of being at a beach in no time. Also, can we all pretend tomorrow is Sunday and stay in our pjs and snuggle all day??
I survived my first kid free vacation! It was rocky in the beginning but knowing the girls were safe I could relax and have (way) too much fun! I can't wait to get home to my babies! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
We leave tomorrow for the first time ever leaving A L L T H R E E girls at home (with lots of help!) I'm trying to pump like crazy though my stress levels are at a all time high which is diminishing my supply. Any mamas have any milk boosting tips? Or any words of affirmation to calm me down?!! These cookies seem to help, thanks @milkmakers!
Reminiscing when I was 24 years old, 9 months pregnant, and on my way to a rock concert. Fast forward six years later and I'm rocking a three day old mom bun and the closest thing to a rock concert is my three daughters constantly running around and screaming. Nothing prepares you for motherhood but it sure is a wild ride!
It's only Tuesday and I'm exhausted! Parenting should come with a warning label: "WILL BE TIRED THE REST OF YOUR LIFE" I haven't showered in two days and my children had pizza for dinner. Granted, I sprinkled hemp seeds on their pizza to make myself feel a little better, but do have to remind myself that it's only Tuesday and I need to "suck it up buttercup" and power through! Where are my tired moms at! ♀️
Ruby is our fearless tornado. It is extremely rare I captured a picture of her actually looking at camera. (Nothing bribes this smart cookie!) I love seeing the differences in our children and their sweet little personalities thrive. Childhood is so magical.
I blinked and she became a tiny adult. She has the biggest heart and kindest soul I know. She has taught me so much about motherhood (even though some days I feel like I'm failing ) I'm sure her teenage years will be difficult but I hope she always knows how much I love her, and that crop tops are never allowed
I hope she grows up in a world full of love and not hate. I hope she learns to be brave and to always fight for her dreams. I hope she knows how much beauty there is in the world and that it's worth fighting for. I also hope she understands that mommy is trying to raise strong daughters, so every once in awhile she will need a very strong drink
It's still 85 degrees out but I wore boots today hopefully convincing Mother Earth that fall weather (and fashion ) are totally overdue. Can I just wear a darn sweater already?! Also, never buy baby clothes while pregnant...poor Stella has "fall" clothes that she will out grow before it even gets cold! Can we say #momfail
Apparently it's fall, yet it's 85 degrees out! My girls are running around the backyard in swimsuits while I enjoy (probably the best) kombucha I've ever had. Might as well load my body with good gut bacteria while I'm sweatin over here! No really, I think my elbows are even sweating Happy weekend vibes everyone!
I remember thinking how sneaky I was as a kid, especially in my teenage years but boy did I learn quick that there's always evidence! In my case it was no gas in my parents car and forgetting to take out the trash after a party, but in hers it was the chocolate all over her face and wall that gave it away.
The girls thought it was hilarious when they turned the blender on (full of smoothie) after I took the top off. My husband must of thought it was hilarious leaving three giant piles of dirty dishes in the sink, knowing I can't s t a n d doing dishes. Stella found it hilarious when she spit up all down my shirt while waiting at the bus stop (of course with nothing to clean it up with). I'm so glad today is almost over. Oh and apparently the girls are Pink Floyd fans
