Moss covered lava fields in Iceland under northern lights. I shot the foreground a few hours earlier then the aurora to make sure I had enough light and detail on the moss. One of my favourite areas to photograph during my trip!!
Diamond beach in Iceland. Busiest place during my trip! Was entertaining watching all the photographers running away from the waves ... I hung back on the beach hanging with ice chunks like this one because I was scared of being sucked out into the ocean haha
Come and join @brettwoodphotoart and I next fall for an all inclusive 9 day tour in Canada's beloved Rocky Mountains! Visit the link in my bio for more details. For those who are already signed up.. can't wait to meet y'all!
Some gorgeous sunrise colour looking towards 'batman' mountain. It was incredibly windy on the other side of those mountains, but tucked into these shallow waters it was calm as ever. Missing Iceland!!
Skutafoss in Iceland. Spent this very rainy day exploring different locations near Hofn and stumbled across this gem of a waterfall! Again, like most of my trip, I enjoyed this place to myself. I must smell bad or something ♀️
Another image from Stokksnes beach in Iceland at the end of sunset when the clouds burn pink. Stayed in the town of Hofn while photographing here and miss everything about it! Really miss the bread, cheese and meat breakfast we had every morning while our hotel host played his Viking music!
Eva lake in Revelstoke, BC. I do this small hike every year in August but missed this year because I took on a heavy wedding photography load. Looking forward to seeing it next summer season! Ps. Going to Iceland in 3 sleeps. Just saying
