As he thinketh, so he is.
It's not just in thinking it; it's about how you think about it. Also known as your mentality.
Success in life is not based on luck. People who feel like they were lucky, actually unintentionally practiced a law and profited from the results.
When you obey a principle. Irrespective of who you are, it is bound to work for you
We would attract into our lives people, situations and circumstances in alignment with our predominant mind structure. What you see in your life is evidence of your predominant thoughts.
Our mentality will magnetise things that support our predominant thoughts.
Sometimes we ask ourselves why we cannot make progress. It is because our mind has a stronghold on us and is moving in the opposite direction.
The power given to us as believers is in order to fight mindsets that limit us. We set up thoughts in our minds against the knowledge of God in our hearts but If we can capture these thoughts and belief systems and make them obedient to Christ, progress is made!
Learn not to think in the negative.
Eg. I never want to be a failure = I want to be a success in life
These are one and the same, but they portray 2 different mentalities. This was Jobs problem.
Negativity affects every good thing that comes into your life and makes it look more like a curse than a blessing.
The way you think will determine the calibre of people that flock your life.
Don't run away from people that stretch and challenge you.
To do well in business and life as a whole, you need to build strategic friendships. People are self-ish. And so you must give to your relationships as you receive.
Viewing relationships from the angle of what it can give you today is deadly. Relationships are futuristic investments.

And if she gets on a long phone call, she can rearrange your entire wardrobe whilst talking.
Who am I kidding... She's perfect . I was unsuccessful in my quest to be you because you are rare and unique. One of a kind. I love and appreciate the Emerald that you are.. Yesterday, today and tomorrow.
Heres to the only Emerald whose price is far above Rubies. @emeraldawa
I grew up practically idolizing her whilst vehemently denying it. I wanted to be just like her, with her fair skin, gap teeth, long hair and a beauty mark that chose the perfect spot on the apple of her right cheek (i hoped that was a family heirloom i would soon grow into ). She had a way with telling stories that would have us all @olapearl_agwu@mr_narnia wrapped around the arms of her chair. And that mind of hers... she remains the smartest person i know, literally gobbling up any kind of information she can access. She amazes all her tutors.
I remember struggling to write cursive cus her notebooks looked so neat. I learned fast that a change in calligraphy wasn't the solution When she got into Uni, all wet behind the ears, we'd wait for months to see the world through her eyes. It was all so very fascinating!! I got into school and things were quite different i remember more than one midnight call with her that involved me sharing one sob-story or the other
... She always made me feel better.
I realised only recently how much of a responsibility all of this must have been. Having 5 younger ones who looked up to her, having to have a fun story to share all the time (probably blow it up for extra effect ), being the perfect example to emulate, waking up by 2am to listen and comfort, building and maintaining a close personal relationship with each of us... And she never faltered!
Sisme taught me 'giving' all over again. Selflessly, every prayer she makes for herself is in order to help others. She is forever coming up with ideas and campaigns and sponsored projects for this girl child or that less privileged individual.... Reminds me of the selflessness of Jesus.
I know I've portrayed her as a perfect woman. She's not! She doesn't see the beauty that she radiates, she can worry about somebody for Africa. She makes Indomie and Egusi soup that can render you useless, but she will never share the recipe, she'd rather make it herself. She tries to bust pimples on everyone's faces. She's a neat freak!
