Looks like it's about to be a bit quieter around ESPN as it was reported that around 100 of their employees are expected to be laid off.

A limited number of other positions will also be affected and a handful of new jobs will be posted to fill various needs.

According to the website, the sporting media agency will focus more on its ESPN app and its online presence.

According to the Associated Press, on Tuesday, Aretha Franklin did a phone interview after she reportedly sent a lengthy fax the day before to address a "libelous" statement against her, that was made five years ago at #WhitneyHouston ’s funeral.
Franklin reportedly accused Dionne Warwick of making up a story about her being Whitney Houston’s godmother. During the interview, Franklin said, "She blatantly lied on me ... fully well knowing what she was doing.” _____________________________________
Back in 2012, Franklin was unable to attend Houston’s funeral. At the time, Warwick mentioned to those in attendance that Franklin had been there. However, when Warwick realized that she wasn’t she reportedly said,"'Ree's not here, but she is here. She loves Whitney as if she were born to her. She is her godmother.” _____________________________________
Days following the funeral #CissyHouston mentioned that Franklin wasn’t Whitney’s godmother, and Franklin made plans to address it all at a later date.
Five years later Franklin now says, "There's been so much going on around her [Houston], around the service, around the drugs, around her and Bobby [Brown] supposed to be fighting, I didn't want to add anything to that and—read more at TheShadeRoom.com (: Eva Hambach/ Taylor Hill/ @gettyimages)

Last night tons of celebs attended the #Time100Gala, which celebrated some of the world’s most influential people.
One of the many people who were in attendance was none other than #JohnLegend, who actually performed during the event.
According to USA Today, while on the carpet, reporter Maeve McDermott asked John Legend about the current president, #DonaldTrump, and let’s just say John Legend definitely did not hold back on his honest opinion.
He said, "He's manifestly unqualified, not curious, not good at legislating or really anything the job requires. He doesn't have any depth about any subject. And he's also using the office of the presidency as a way to make money with himself with his businesses, so he's corrupt. I can't say anything nice about the guy, I think he's one of the worst people I've ever encountered in public life.” _____________________________________

She simply posted a photo to Snapchat with the caption, “20 Weeks,” but it turns out that pregnancy announcement was an accident.
According to People Magazine, Williams talked to Gayle King about her announcement on Tuesday at the 2017 Ted Talks Conference in Vancouver. During their discussion, Williams revealed that the Snapchat post was by accident.
She said, “Well, actually it was an accident. I was on vacation just taking some time for myself and I have this thing where I’ve been checking my status and taking pictures every week to see how far along I’m going.” _____________________________________
She continued, “I didn’t tell a lot of people to be quite honest and I’d been saving it. On social media, you press the wrong button and… Thirty minutes later I missed four calls and I’m like, ‘That’s weird’.” _____________________________________
