Those ice-cold golden milk lattes On another note just posted a small devo I put together this morning called HEART HOME. Hoping it brings encouragement in the area of the things in this world we allow in our lives and how what we allow can impact the spiritual atmosphere of our homes and most importantly our hearts. These raw juices from juice it up are so good and I love how you can create your own mix. I usually do carrot, cucumber, spinach, celery, kale, and lemon. Such a good flavor! What's your favorite place to get a refreshing drink?
Running errands in the dead heat today. But I found out that no one goes to the store around that time so you can expect really short lines at target Currently watching Linus enjoy some pool time! More in my story Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday!
Golden milk lattes all week with the sis good to be back on insta! It's a lovely day today and the weather couldn't be better right now! I'm excited to take this week off from social media and just focus on Linus and my husband and catching up on my reading and my time alone with Jesus. Don't we just need times like that? To get away and re-focus? It's always a refreshing thing to do and if you haven't done it I encourage you to pray about it. Sometimes we just need to disconnect from everything else and enjoy what's in front of us and give it our full attention. God speaks volumes in those times and I personally feel led to just get away and be refreshed by Gods presenceI will pick it back up on Friday! Hoping everyone's has a wonderful week! Blessings <3
The cutest little onesie arrived in the mail today for Linus. A late birthday gift from auntie Alicia but so worth the wait! Linus does Iove his Tia. I love seeing his face light up and the little convos he starts to have with her whenever she comes home from work. It's the cutest

We had an awesome marriage study tonight at CCMV. And even though I missed my husband playing percussion next to me as usual it didn't take away from Gods presence that was deeply felt. Btw Frankie dislocated his elbow skateboarding yesterday so we had to rush him to ER and get it put back into place. Thanking the Lord everything went smoothly and there were no complications. He should be able to move normally in about two days. Thank you to all who have been praying for him. It means so much all your DM's and prayers.......Something powerful that was said tonight was about the act of surrendering our marriages to Jesus and allowing Him to have His way with us as couples. As we learn to never settle in our marriages and allow God to help us live to our full potential as a husband and wife we can accomplish great and mighty things for His kingdom. It's always been my deepest desire that God would be glorified through Frankie and I and in our relationship and it will continue being my prayer. I want God to be seen so clearly and I want people to be drawn to Him by our love for one another. I know that can only be done by His Spirit and by pursuing Him wholeheartedly. I pray that every married couple would seek and pursue Christ as their foundation; may Jesus be lifted up and may others be able to see His wonderful face through our marriages as we walk together in Him! "This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live" Deuteronomy 30:19
New wardrobe items in my closet including a little number for date night I love buying blouses specifically for when Frankie and I go on a date. Makes it fun and surprising not wearing the same old same old Speaking of date night with the hubby, QT is important especially once you start having babies. You want to always leave room for catching up and that one-on-one time. I value our alone time so much and quality time is definitely on the top of my love language list! It can be hard getting out sometimes cause Frankie and I are such home-bodies and pizza with a good movie is what we alwaaays want to do. But we've gotten better at actually going out and doing things and I think that's important in a marriage relationship; having fun with your better half and talking about nothing, anything and everything! It's also gives the opportunity to share your struggles, where your at spiritually, and how you can be praying for each other. That accountability that we were created for has been handed to us through marriage. In Genesis 3 when Adam and Eve fell we notice that Adam was not with Eve when she was tempted and Eve did not seek her husband, her head, in that moment of temptation. Where was the accountability? Where was the intimacy that kept Adam and Eve tightly knit? That's why I believe it's so important to have that quality time with your spouse and be open and honest about your life, your heart, and your struggles. But in the midst of it all just have fun together! Marriage is fun and It's so special being married to your best friend. It's a God given gift to be married and let us married couples never forget the importance of strengthening that gift
Missing our San Diego adventure with this little butt head Fun fact about me: I'm a complete city life person and my husband happens to love it too (aka all the stair cases and ledges he can hit on his skateboard). But I love the fact we can walk EVERYWHERE. The grocery store, boutiques, restaurants, they are all at your finger tips. And there's something about a city that never sleeps... it's just thrilling to me to be honest haha Who knows, maybe one day God will move us to one, but for now we are enjoying our little suburb life
Put some more clothing items up on my eBay :) you can find me at thesongbirdjoeyshop! Ive also been prompted by the Lord to start regularly funding Operation Rescue every month as they battle against planned parenthood and it's gruesome acts toward the unborn. I'll be putting up slightly used/like-new clothing items up and a percentage of your purchases will go straight to them! This has been something I've been praying about doing for some time now and I know the Lord has confirmed it to me especially this morning in my personal time with Him. These words from Matthew Henry stirred my heart "Let us never starve a good cause when we see bad ones so liberally supported." The Lord has spoken loud and clear to me about this even through other means and I know for sure those words by Matthew Henry couldn't have been louder. So I've decided to be a regular donor to this organization every month. My heart is heavy for those babes who don't have a voice and I'm disturbed by the many who have and are standing with PPH despite all the evidence against them. If you would like more info on Operation Rescue please visit the link in my bio and consider being a part of their efforts. Even if you are only able to give a one-time gift that would be absolutely helpful to them. They are battling lawsuits right now that planned parenthood has placed on them after releasing those horrifying videos of PPH and their illegal practices. But with the Lord and with what He's given to us as the church we can come together and make a difference. "Do I not hate those who hate you, O LORD? And do I not loathe those who rise up against you?" Psalm 139:21
Some hot chocolate and my Matthew Henry read this morning It's a beautiful day over here in sunny SoCal. We are getting a little break from the heat this week in my area so hallelujah. How's the weather where you're at? :)
