Those of you that have followed me for a while will know I’m quite partial to a cheeky #transformationtuesday But in seriousness, these last few days, I’ve reached that point where my motivation levels have hit a huge low. I’ve felt myself becoming more self-conscious, impatient, frustrated and confidence levels have dropped (although only slightly) However, this is something that affects everyone at some point while training. The way I deal with it and to stop me just giving up and reaching for that huge slab of chocolate fudge cake, I always take a look back at how much progress I’ve made to date. Although the photo on the left isn’t my actual starting point, it serves as a constant reminder of what I used to be, how far I’ve come and where I certainly don’t want to end up again! It’s so important that when you’re feeling low and demotivated, to take some time to reflect and pat yourself on the back for what you’ve already achieved so far!! #fitnessjourney
Today has been a BIG day! 2 weeks ago I made a huge decision to leave my full-time job so that I could pursue something I’ve dreamed of doing for years! It has been a scary yet exciting few weeks and today I progressed one step further on this journey - to be my own boss and build a successful business in the language service industry and, ultimately, create something that I can be proud of!

Just over 10 weeks ago, I decided it was time to pull my finger out and get back to training after quite a few months off and being a right lazy git. So I signed up with a PT and got straight back to it! It was the best decision I’ve made!! Over the years I’ve tried countless diets and plans, lost weight, made great progress...and also piled it all back on. However, this time round feels so different, it feels right!! These last few months, I’ve seen the best progress I’ve ever made whilst training. I’ve lost almost 7.5kg so far, I’m getting stronger every week and hitting new PBs in every session I’m so incredibly proud of the progress I’ve made since January and after seeing the results so far, I’m super pumped to see what I can achieve over the next 12 weeks!! I’ve never been so motivated, confident or optimistic and I can’t wait to see what the rest of 2018 is gonna bring #sundayvibes#progress#positivityiskey

Well this week has been a whirlwind of emotions. Cliché as this may sound but we can’t control what life is going to through at us but we can decide how we deal with it and, eventually, overcome it. One huge release for me this week has been training. I’m so proud of myself with regards to training, cardio and diet - and I’m actually exciting for the first time to step on those scales this weekend and see the results!
