Bit of an argument going on here; without the full story it's hard to tell. In general this is classic case of what NOT to do for so many reasons.. have a read of some of them below! (However apparently this is Pancho - story is in the comments)
For one, getting used to being fed/human interaction isn't good for the survival of the animal - as they become more familiar with these sort of interactions. As well as the dangers of getting close to the propellers of the boat -
I've always stuck by the line - look but don't touch (which feeding definitely comes into) -
Yes the girl shouldn't be standing that close, she clearly hasn't seen the video that's been everywhere recently of the girl in the life jacket.. and her parents are irresponsible for allowing her to be so close. However if i was on that boat I'd be even closer because i love marine animals
