Final few days before shoots

Carb intake is still super high. 50% of my total intake. Fat intake is 20% and protein is 30%

Hiit today for core, plyo, increase vo2 max, lactic threshold and to incinerate fat
.
Circuit was as follows - .
10 circuits. Only break is when your training partner is training 💪

1- 10 per side -Heavy ball wall throw (simulate punch resistance & activate core)
2- 10 walk out pressups with super man raise (activate core more)
3- 30 seconds -basic skipping technique, for calves, raise heart rate etc
4- 30 seconds -double skips, for explosive work, accelerate heart rate and deplete more
5- 5 per side low shin kicks, with hip twist, explosive work for the core and legs
6 - be a vain person, look at what you're building and be proud of it. Regardless of how you look, just be glad you're able to do things that others dream about. Shut up moaning about what you wish you were and just take a moment to appreciate what you were able to do and how amazing life is...

Complete as fast as you can. Go outside the gym and be sick everywhere while girls drive past to go to the ladies only gym. Look like a tramp, but harvest the shreds 😂😩🍆💪

Then it's back to getting some size back on, the aim is to sit around 100kg long term. Will be a long process but all good things take time. Apart from sex if you suffer from premature ejaculation. Second leg session of the day complete today I did two strength sessions on legs. Focussing on keeping depth as good as possible and not just moving weights with poor quality control. Its always better to feel the muscle you want to grow and adapt actually working 💪

Calipers say I'm 14% body fat. I hold most of it in my magical third leg

Abs keeping lean with the bulk as I've been keeping my rep and contraction quality high. Largely focussing on volume work in a sarcoplasmic style of training with progressive overload chucked in and sometimes controlled drop sets

Working out twice a day currently for 45 mins each time

Reclaiming lost muscle mass (trying anyway)

Simply I just eat as much as I can. I make sure most of it is whole ingredients, no meat, high bioavailability and such. I literally haven't weighed food out since last year.
.
(Most protein comes from pea protein, mycoprotein and other such plant forms. Egg is down simply what is added to quorn now) .
For those asking, you can gain muscle as a vegetarian. You need to supplement your essential amino acids, make sure you're eating enough. Same as a meat eater, minus the slaughtered animals and that... 🤔
.
Not saying that weighing out food is bad, for some people it's the essential structure needed to keep their routine going, but for me it was way to much to do every day ontop of all my other stuff. .
Reality of it is, for a lot of people, gaining muscle mass will ofcourse gain you some excess fat along the way. Don't let it bother you, it's part of the journey. (Granted if you weigh out your food and know what you're doing you'll bulk a lot leaner *if that's your goal) .
Not a clue what my % fat is now, not arsed. I'm sat in between 92kg and 96kg mattering on the time, what I've ate the day before and other variables. All I know is, it's a long journey, I'm having fun, being healthy, sticking to my morales about animals and slowly getting closer to a goal that changes every time I hit it 😂

Accountability post

The last week has been a battle, big time. A mental battle with myself and my anxiety. It comes from my fear of mortality. Which started when my dad passed away during my child hood & came flooding back in when I came home early from hospital as my mother was due to have an operation on a small tumour in her throat. I've kept this off social media til today
.
The operation had some complications with clots and bleeds that wouldn't stop, but she's now ok, being held together with staples and will survive another battle. Mums a tank, she's been through stuff that has changed laws, made news papers and even had the royal family pay attention. But that's another story, long and short of it is my mums hard as nails
.
The main reason why I try to live / do so much with the time I've been blessed with is I've seen death first hand and it reminds you how fucking important being alive is, I mean actually being alive guys. Not just existing
.
But what does a selfie have to do with the above? I'll explain, gym and physical training is effectively my medicine and meditation. It gives me peace in a world that sometimes is over whelming and demanding
.
Not only does it give my brain some time to shut off, it feeds me with those super little endorphins (happy chemicals)
.
So basically guys, if you're struggling and have no one to share your stuff with. Find something that will take the load away, it's important that you can have a focus, project and satisfaction in what you're doing, this can make everything feel better
.
So keep strong, keep going when others stop and find the positive in any thing you do for your own sake
.
